Today, I made my first snowman ever, and then cried when my big brother kicked it to pieces. I'm 27. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Heartwarming
Today, I made a snowman with my little sister. We spent ages rolling snowballs and decorating it with a scarf and hat. When we'd finished, she hugged it so hard that it collapsed. She cried, so I promised to build another one. It’s been three hours, my fingers are numb, but her smile is worth it. FML
Today, I got excited because a snowman I had built lasted a whole week, which is uncommon in my mild climate area. I thought myself lucky, and that my life was turning around. Then I realized how lame my whole train of thought was. FML
Little git
Today, I gave my 7-year-old a snowglobe. I had spent the last week deconstructing it, putting an action figure of his favorite cartoon character inside, and then putting it back together. Later, I find it smashed into pieces because he wanted to "play with the toy it came with." FML
Today, I'm at my grandparents' house to help clear snow. I was making a path to the driveway by pushing the snow out of the way. I saw a big pile and went to kick it really hard. Alas, it was a step. FML
Today, I learned that my neighbor of 9 years has a kid. I learned this after I knocked down his snowman. FML
Today, as I was walking home, I passed some little girls who threw a bunch of snowballs at me. I dodged every single one, ran away laughing, and gave them the finger. I then ran into a snowman. FML
Today, I dressed up, went over to my boyfriend and told him he could do anything he wanted. He said nothing and walked outside. I figured he'd come back in shortly, but when I looked out the window a few minutes later, he was building a snowman. FML
Today, I walked in the snow and saw some kid slip. I laughed and felt good about myself. Then I fell. FML
Today, the first snow of the season fell. My husband celebrated by pelting me with snowballs, while I was on the toilet. FML
Today, on my first ski run down a mountain, I dislocated my patella. Now I get to watch out of the window as my family builds a snowman and names it after me. FML

Those things are a lot of work. Personally I would be distraught if that happened to me.

Everyone saying that OP had no childhood, perhaps they lived in a hotter country where there was no snow and was therefore unable to build one? Stop assuming things -_- :)

If he watched the Dr Who Snowman episode he might've been trying to save the world....

I think what's most sad about this FML is that you didn't make a snowman until you were 27. You were simply proud of it, so you cried. I sure would have.

You most probably live at home and play TV games all day as well

why, because he/she never made a snowman? have you considered that maybe OP grew up in a place without snow and just recently moved? i'm from brazil and moved to chicago not too long ago and now i'm just experiencing my first snowfall (and it's not even that much, i've heard). way to judge people in a negative way for no reason whatsoever. maybe you're the one who should turn off your computer.

I feel your pain. All that hard work. Never mind that it was a snowman.

You're never too old to be excited about a snow man. Growing up in Texas where it rarely snows and the snow sticks even less often I always yelled at people for kicking over snowmen.

I would have cried too
