Today, I had to attend a meeting with my parents, my teacher, and my bully and his parents. When we started, my bully "broke down" and "tearfully" told the teacher that I was the one bullying him, and that he was getting blamed to cover it all up. They believed him. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Unfortunate coincidences
Today, I finally stood up for myself and beat the crap out of a bully at school, as my father told me to do. The kid and I were called to the principal's office, along with our parents. Inside my father's smirk faded when he saw that the kid's mom was his boss. FML
Today, I bullied a kid at school, just so someone would talk to me. FML
Not ED for me
Today, I asked my school counselor in strict confidence for advice on how to help a friend of mine, who has bulimia. When I got home, I found out that "someone" had called my parents and told them that I'm bulimic. They won't believe the truth. FML
Today, I gave a presentation about how teachers don't intervene enough when students are being bullied. Afterwards, I was practically bullied by my teacher for "not choosing a serious topic." FML
Today, I fought back with words against a bully. He cried, and I got detention. FML
Shocked
Today, I set off a fire alarm in school. I was taken to the head teacher's office, where he said that though he was shocked at my behavior, it was nice to see me being more like regular students and trying to fit in, instead of isolating myself as usual. I was shoved into the fire alarm by bullies. FML
Don't Fight Club
Today, I stood up to the school bully in a fight. Rather than thank me, the whole school, including some of his victims, now treat me like a psycho. Apparently they tolerated him because of his terrible foster parents, so me hitting him was actually way out of line, and insensitive. How did I become the bad guy here? FML
Teenage riot
Today, I finally had it with the redneck bully who's been tormenting me. He was repeatedly poking and pinching me and laughing out loud during class, so I slung him to the ground, pinning him. I got suspended. They only called his parents, who never do anything; my "caring" parents are looking into teen boot camp. FML
Ratted
Today, one of my friends got me in trouble when he called our house and asked my parents why they didn't see us at a school conference. My parents were at a meeting elsewhere at the time, so I didn't bother to tell them about it, as we couldn't have gone there to begin with, and it was voluntary. They're mad anyway. FML
Today, I finally confronted my bully. Too bad it was at my high school reunion and he beat the shit out of me. FML

How would the kid even have any evidence to prove you were bullying him if you were the victim

Potentially he will take the hint at even being summoned to the front to stop bullying you. If not, have a recording device hidden or a friend recording from afar and confront him about it when there are no teachers around to make him behave

I told a guidance counselor in middle school I was being bullied and she never did anything. Just brought the student in and he "apologised". I stopped reporting it after that. I went to a private school (which was grades K-12) and only attended 8th and 9th grade.

Multiple teachers witnessed the verbal bullying but never did anything. They just acted like they never saw anything b/c they knew the kids and the kids' parents. I'm 22 now and suffer depression due to all the bullying. Oh well. -_-

Bullies. Master manipulators. He only way you're going to be taken seriously is if you have audio or video documentation of his shit. You're gonna need some help on this one.

OP I am so sorry. FYL indeed. From a former bullying victim to another, it may suck right now but I can promise you it always gets better. I was the kid that was bullied and when you have zero friends and zero witnesses but they have a dozen who will go along with their lies it feels hopeless. Your bully is a true sociopath. All I can say is perhaps try to get some evidence, talk to a counsellor, constantly inform people about it. If you stay silent he wins. Don't let him win. Fight! Don't give up, It will get better. I promise.

I also struggled a lot with bullying as a kid. The only bully I ever forgave was the one who realized what she did wrong, and apologized to me one day our freshman year of high school. By the end of her apology we were both on the verge of tears, and we ended up making amends.

That's awful. I'm sorry op.

Why did your teacher have to be there if not as a witness? I'm sure that somewhere along the way, someone witnessed something. It's sad that others are too scared to tell what they see.

I'm sure there are many witnesses that can vouch for you.

it happens op, my brother and I know all too well. My younger cousin was punched in the stomach and my brother took the kid to the ground in retaliation. All three got detention. I guess being punched in the stomach lands you in detention these days. And when I was in school a girl started talking shit about my mom so I gave her a light warning slap to the shoulder, I made sure to do it as light as I could because I didn't want to hurt her despite her being a jerk. That resulted in her kicking me in the leg as hard as she could and landing us both in detention. Ironically we bonded over the fact that we both hated detention and after that she never bugged me again.

I hate to resort to getting back at the bully. But they usually have friends they're showing off for who probably wouldn't think it was so cool that he cried "like a baby ". And definitely try to get proof
