Today, I had numerous calls from people saying they need a baby sitter, because "they know I wasn't invited anywhere". FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Cool beans
Today, I got a call from a girl I know, asking if I could babysit her little brother at my house tonight. I said yes. When the boy came over, he mentioned that his sister was having a party and didn't want him there. Turns out all my friends were invited except me. FML
Today, I realized the only reason I was invited to go on vacation with my extended family was so I could babysit everyone's children while the adults go out and have fun. FML
Today, a woman got out of a car to scream at me as I was walking with the kids I babysit, demanding to know where I was taking her children. Apparently the woman who pays me is also a babysitter, who I have been "covering" for on her party nights. The mother doesn't believe I didn't know this. FML
Today, I had to quit my job. Why? Because I don't have a babysitter anymore. All I did was tell them I didn't want them mocking my baby when he cries. FML
Today, I was uninvited from my own birthday party. FML
Today, one of my teachers asked me to babysit their kids saturday night. She didn't forget that it was Prom night, she was going to chaperone it. My teacher assumed I wasn't invited to Prom... I wasn't. FML
Uber friends
Today, I'm going to be the one dropping off two of my friends so they can go hang out. I'm not invited. FML
Today, I was invited to a party. Since I rarely get invited to any, I was super pumped. Both my parents work late, so I texted a couple of people to see if I could catch a ride. It turned out everyone's cars were full. I ended up missing one of the only parties I've ever been invited to. FML
Today, I found out I wasn't invited to the annual family reunion. The reason? Everyone thinks I'm "creepy" because I'm the only adult who will go out and play with the kids. FML
How to invite someone without actually inviting them
Today, my parents asked me if I was sure I didn't want to join them on a family trip tomorrow with my sister. I was never invited, and unlike the rest of the family, I have a full-time job where I can't just take days off with no warning. This is how they announce most "family trips" to me. FML

Were you?

Considering that this is an FML I'd assume OP invited anywhere. Unless this was an FML only because people were assuming that OP wasn't invited out anywhere.

She may be genuinely going somewhere, as a thought.

Well, you may be able to get them to pay well if so many people are desperate. Bright side even if they were right.

Sometimes honesty is the best policy. Tell them to frig off :) I have plans with Netflix champagne and some munchies

Tell them you're not going anywhere because you broke your foot.

At least it seems like you're a valued babysitter.

Tell them all to **** off. Whether you have plans or not, it's rude of them to assume that you'd be happy to watch their brats or to say such a horrible thing to you. Happy New Year.

I don't think they really said anything horrible, in all honesty I can't believe anybody would ever say "because I know you're not invited anywhere" I think op just exaggerated in the FML. But I doubt that's how it actually went down.

Yeah. That's bad, just like my New Year's Eve.

If you weren't doing anything, babysit all of the kids at once. When your 'friends' ask why there were so many other kids, ask why so many people thought you were free instead of asking you out with them. Also, charge a lot of money.
