Today, I got pulled over for having an expired registration. I also found out my husband hasn't been paying for my car insurance. Luckily, I didn't get arrested because I had my baby with me. They towed my car and gave me 2 tickets and a court date. Oh, and the cop sent me a friend request. FML

Today, I was driving home from work when I saw a cop come up behind me. Nervous about my expired license, I kept checking in my rear view mirror. In turn since I wasn't paying attention, I ran a stop sign. Needless to say the cop pulled me over and gave me 2 tickets. FML
Today, I got pulled over for violating hands-free law and not having an updated address on my driver's license. Two days ago, I got pulled over for the same reasons. Now, I have four tickets I need to deal with. FML
Today, coming home from a trip in the mountains, I got a cracked radiator and my car overheated. My dad came to get me, he drove my car and I followed in his. I got pulled over and ticketed for his expired registration. FML
Today, I got a speeding ticket in the mail, at the same time as my car was getting towed. FML
Today, I got a ticket for driving without insurance. I gave the cop my insurance information, but he said it was invalid because it didn't show an expiration date. When I pointed out the information he was looking for, he ignored me and gave me a ticket anyway. FML
Today, I received a traffic ticket by mail, presumably for speeding. Not a big deal, if my car hadn't been totalled three months ago. My driver's license is expired, too. FML
Today, a police officer pulled me over. He asked me where I was headed, so I jokingly replied, "Probably to jail after you run my name". He laughed and took my information, only to then arrest me for unpaid parking tickets I never received. FML
Today, I went downtown to pay my speeding ticket. After standing in line and arguing with a rude woman behind the desk, I get back to my car only to find an expired meter and a parking ticket. I got a ticket while paying my ticket. FML
Today, I woke up to find a parking ticket on my car. My car was in my driveway and the cop who wrote it is my ex-boyfriend. This is the third time. FML
Today, I was pulled over by the police. The cop was my ex-boyfriend. He had no legitimate reason to pull me over, so he thoroughly checked my car. He gave me a defect notice and a fine. What for? A broken door lock, on my rear passenger door. FML

If the cop wanted to have his "friend" ;) request accepted, you'd have gotten a warning instead of two tickets. Tickets only go to semi-MILFs

I'm not sure if this is joking or not, but NOT going to court will cause way more trouble than attending would. Seriously, skipping out on a court date is enough to get a warrant out on someone.

I might be reading too much into this, but considering that the husband is not paying insurance the Tag Agency won't let you renew a registration (at least in Florida) either he's broke or slowly cutting ties with her. So the cop figured worth a shot. Back in my days you wanted to get a girls number to hit on her, now it's facebook or instagram.

Wow, that's a big stretch. I mean, maybe the cop is trying to date her, that's not a stretch, but I doubt he's assuming she's heading for divorce because of her insurance situation.

some states call the renewal sticker on the license plate a tag once he put that in the computer for priors or warrants no turning back
