Today, I got my period two days early, while being interviewed for my dream job. Let's just say that I don't have very high hopes after walking backwards to the exit door and falling down upon colliding with the wall. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I walked into a door on my way in to an interview, in front of the interviewer and a group of people waiting to be interviewed. FML
Spillage
Today, I had an interview for a job I’ve dreamt about. I sat down in the lobby and spilled coffee on my crotch. I tried to dry it in the toilet, which made it look like I’d pissed myself. When I entered his office, the HR guy glanced down and said, “Long morning?” I panicked and replied, “No, just excited to be here.” FML
Today, I went in for an interview for my first ever job. Just seconds after meeting the boss, I slipped on the linoleum floor. I was wearing a skirt. FML
Today, I shat myself during a job interview. FML
Stress test
Today, I got so nervous that I actually peed my pants during a job interview. FML
Today, I arrived to apply for my much-needed dream job. Without warning, just as the elevator opened, a complete stranger kicked me square in the nads. FML
Today, my bra clasp broke in the middle of a job interview. I got the job on the spot. I'm scared to report into work. FML
Great first impression
Today, I woke up early for a job interview. I got lost and arrived an hour late, only to find out it was the wrong day. FML
Today, I went to a very important job interview. I was so nervous that I passed out right in front of the interviewer's desk. FML
Raincheck?
Today, I was suffering from some gastric distress. While on my way to a job interview, I slipped on some concrete that was wet due to a recent slight rain shower. I didn't fall. I DID shit my pants though. I walked back home slowly in shame to clean up the mess. I didn't make it to the interview. FML

They would probably never even have noticed if you had just walked out normally

Real subtle, OP.

I started in a fling's bed the night after. We were both painted; it was mortifying.

Unless you sat there for a while and you had white pants on, it probably shouldn't have went through to make it visible. I would've just walked out normally, but quickly so hopefully they wouldn't have time to see it just in case.

Might sound paranoid, but prepare for your period and wear dark colors about 3 days before you are supposed to, just in case of emergencies, especially if you are outside or at an event. Sorry this happened to you, OP. FYL

Nothing paranoid about it, it's what I do :)

I always wear dark pants because I'm clumsy and spill things a lot...

I envy women who are brave enough to wear white or light-colored pants. Whenever I wear light clothes, I spend the whole day feeling paranoid that my body is going to have a spontaneous period. lol

Also, if you own a smartphone, there's an app for that which proved to be right most times. Obviously, you need to have a regular cycle and provide correct data (number of days). It came in handy on many an occasion :)

Nice point, 24. I switch to black undies the moment I start craving chocolate and tearing up while watching Buffy reruns. This has proven useful.

51- that happened to me more than once. I basically banned myself from wearing light colors, shorts or dresses for that reason. And I keep pads in my purse all month long.

Do you have a really heavy flow on the first day or something? I've gotten mine early but it's never been so much it gets on my pants. Your interview must have been really long.

Then count yourself lucky.

Periods don't sound like a lot of fun.

Who knows. You may get lucky.

This sounds like a scene in a comedy movie.

Unless it was very heavy, YDI. You're always supposed to at least wear a liner. Especially if your expected period is in two days.

Always? Even back in the days where I had periods I never did, waste of money. It's pretty easy to tell if you're coming on and even if you miss it you can always wash your clothes. Besides, those liners aren't supposed to be for early periods, they're to absorb the everyday leakage from the ******'s self-cleaning system.

Everyday = always.

No one is ever supposed to wear liners. What the hell is wrong with you.
