Today, I got my hair dyed at a fancy salon. While the stylist was pulling out the foils in my hair I sat up and started screaming in pain because the hot foils were burning my scalp. All she said was "oh, you're fine". I went back home to find an oozing burn wound on my scalp. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, my mom came over to visit and permed my hair. Ten minutes after she started, I told her it was burning. She told me to suck it up because it doesn't hurt that badly. I now have scabs all over my scalp, hairline, and nape. FML
Today, while getting my hair done, I was annoyed that the beautician was not paying attention while straightening my hair. After asking her three times to watch what she was doing, I grabbed the iron and said "let me do it, you're going to burn me!". I then burned two layers of skin off my ear. FML
Hair care
Today, after spending a week detangling my hair (It took a week because my hands have nerve issues) because it felt like my scalp was glued to my scalp from not being taken care of, I cut it all off. My hair got tangled in the device twice and eventually revealed a burn on my scalp. FML
Today, I came home from a crazy costume party and took a hot shower. When I opened my eyes and saw the water running from my head was bloody, I freaked out and called my friend for help. She had to remind me that for the party, I'd coloured my hair red with washable hair dye. FML
FIRE!
Today, I was getting a haircut. I had my foils in for about 10 minutes when the fire alarm went off. The building then started to fill with smoke and we evacuated. While outside watching the fire being put out, I forgot about my foils. I now have bright bleached yellow and orange hair. FML
Today, I made the decision to lighten my hair from dark brown to blonde. I thought the stylist knew what she was doing, but I ended up with my hair fried off and orange. FML
Today, I dyed my hair. It was all going well, until I forgot I had a head full of product and scratched an itch. I didn't realise my mistake until later, and now have to replace my six-month old sofa because it has a huge stain that alternates from purple to bleach. FML
Today, I went to get a haircut. I have a pretty bad case of dandruff, so whenever I get one, a lot of it shows. My hairstylist called to her nearby friend twice, then looked at my hair and said, "Blech" under her breath. I got glares when I walked out. FML
Today, I went to the hairdresser on a spur of the moment decision to get a quick wash and cut. Forty-five painful minutes and $180 later, I honestly don't know if anything was actually done to my hair. FML
Today, I thought I would treat myself to a shave and a haircut at a proper barber, instead of just a haircut at Supercuts. After many "Oops", "Sorry", even an "Oh dear", I left with no hair cut, and blood streaming from multiple slices in my face from the shave. I think one might need stitches. FML

Were the foils actually hot or was it the chemicals they were using that burnt your scalp? This happened to me once when I got my hair straightened. They left the treatment on for too long and I ended up with a very sore scalp and red burn marks on the top of my forehead. Needless to say I didn't go back there again.

As expected, everyone's going Sue this and Lawsuit that! It's not that easy, you know. And all that work for loss of profit after you paued the lawyer? OP, go back there, tell them off and say things that will ruin their business. Threaten to tell people, they might give your money back. And after that hopefully profitable encounter, don't ever go back there.

Go back and stink up a storm! Get her unprofessional ass fired! Demand you money back and make sure that dumb lady gets fired.

That is all people think of when a person gets hurt. Sue the person or company that caused it. I would personally go in show the hair dresser and demand my money back.

Sorry to break the news to all of you but im currently a student for cosmotology...that honetly doesnt make any sense unless you had a scalp abrasion already. The foil itself woud not be burrning hot to burn your scalp. The only thing i could think of that is a posiblity is that your stylist could have placed the color or decolorizer too close to the ends of the foil and when the hair swelled the color or decolorizer was directly on the scalp causing a chemical burn... xoxo Chad

'Cosmotology'? What, is that like the chimney sweep guy who has 'flue-ologist' on the side of his van?
