Today, I got fired from my job. I caught a customer taking pictures up my skirt, and my boss fired me for calling the police and "making a big deal out of it". FML

Today, I got fired from work. Why? I finally took a stand for myself and confronted my coworker of writing things up in my name for herself, and it getting deducted from my check. So she went to the manager and accused me of sexual harassment. FML
Today, a customer at work became violent and started hitting me and my coworker. Not wanting him to get the shit beat out of us, I used a move that pinned the guy on the ground. The police came and he was arrested. I was then fired for assaulting a customer. FML
Today, my sister got me in deep trouble at the store I worked security for. She "dropped by to say hi" and stole a bunch of things when I wasn't looking. I wasn't arrested, due to lack of any evidence. But my boss didn't care about evidence and fired me anyway. FML
Today, I was fired for being a very happy and perky employee. According to my boss, it freaks both the customers and my co-workers out. FML
Today, I was fired from my job because I, in my boss's words, "Abided by company policy to such an extent that customers were starting to hate me." FML
Today, I was fired for using violence and intimidation in the work place. I was a bouncer at a strip club. FML
Today, I was fired from my job for sexual harassment. I was shopping after work, and I had to get my female manager to give me a package of extra-large condoms from the lockbox. I could not convince her that I was not flirting, and she took it to HR. FML
Today, my boss fired me for causing a "commotion" at work while running the vacuum. FML
Today, I got fired from my new waitress job after 2 shifts. They said I wasn't experienced enough to handle the fast pace. I thought I'd been doing well so I asked my friend who works there what really happened. Apparently not showing my boobs enough at a family place was grounds for dismissal. FML
Today, my girlfriend came to my workplace to tell me she was breaking up with me. My boss, who was passing by, fired me for "chatting with friends" during work hours. FML

Well... No hah I think the customer did it because she was wearing a skirt, not bc she's pretty enough to be honored (which she may be) but lowlives like that would do it to anyone with a skirt. And it's an invasion of privacy.

The boss actually has a point. It may have made you "uncomfortable" but there are a few things to ask yourself: 1- are you at work to be "comfortable" or are you there to WORK? Aka, HELP BUSINESS GROW? 2- would calling the cops on a customer just for being a typical horny guy, probably scare away other customers? YES IT PROBABLY WOULD. The people don't know what for- they just get the mindset of "customers here aren't respected, we get arrested". 3- Does him taking pictures up your skirt show your face? NO. Were you wearing panties? HOPEFULLY. If you were and weren't being an office sl*t, you have nothing to worry about. Ok so some weird guy with a fetish gets his rocks off? NOT WORTH LOSING CUSTOMERS OVER. ============================================== It may seem rude, but HONESTLY, if I were in that situation: I would have quietly and discreetly made the customer told the customer to give me his camera and let me delete all the pictures OR I would call the cops. Then after deleting them, tell him "the only thing that saved you is your a customer! We always respect our customers. with that said, no hard feelings and ill forget this ever happened. just never try it again ok. you have a good day!" That would have SOLVED THE PROBLEM without CAUSING A SCENE and without SCARING AWAY CUSTOMERS. ==================================== What you did WAS selfish I hate to tell you. You put your own "comfort" over the company. nobody wants that type of employee working at their office. That is the type of employee who is as likely to SUE THE COMPANY as they are to WORK FOR THE COMPANY.

If you do not get a lawyer you deserve to be fired, because you can prevent this from happening to future employees who will be scared of filing sexual harassment lawsuits

I opened this FML just so I could downvote you. Sexual harassment should never be taken lightly, and in this day and age, photos can spread around the internet extremely quickly. I'm assuming you wouldn't like photos of your ****** and ass on the internet, or being used by the creepy upskirting random to jerk his fapstick, right?
