Today, I got engaged to my boyfriend of three years. I made the announcement on my status on facebook so people would congratulate me. The only response I got about my engagement was from a girl I knew saying; "Umm, he didn't tell you he was cheating on you for three years with me?" FML

I don't get why anyone would JOKE about that, can someone explain it? I'd say she's jealous. Also OP doesn't deserve her boyfriend to cheat on her, but she does deserve to be ignorged by her friends when she puts on facebooks as her status to get attention. You deserve whatever you get when you look for attention.

Because there is a HUGE difference between putting it out there and IF people say something fine, but when you actually LOOK for attentionN which she did, she says so in her post, then yeah she does sorta deserve it.
