Today, I got a ticket for "suspicious driving" because my total shit of a mother kept tugging on the wheel to annoy me, and I still had to pay it. FML

Today, I found out my mother drives my car. I was okay with it; I don't use it all the time and she's my mother. However, I was not okay with the multiple speeding tickets that came through in the post. "You're the registered keeper, so why should I pay?" FML
Today, I was on the way to traffic court for a $340 speeding ticket I'd got. My mother called me and I wasn't paying attention which caused me to speed. Right past a cop. When I told the cop where I was going, he started laughing at me. I now have another $300 ticket. FML
Today, my mom told me to follow her car closely to my aunt's house. I kept really close to her which caused me to get pulled over for tailgating. I explained everything to the cop so he went over to my mom to see if that was the truth. My mom said she didn't know me. I got a ticket. Thanks mom. FML
Today, I got a ticket. From my dad the cop. FML
Today, I got a speeding ticket in the mail, at the same time as my car was getting towed. FML
Today, I learned that several thousand people in my state got tickets this month for driving and talking on the phone. My mom called to tell me this while I was driving. I'm now part of that statistic. Thanks, mom. FML
Today, I was driving home and got a phone call from my mom. She called to tell me that there was a cop at the bottom of our hill, and to be careful. I got a ticket for talking on my cell phone while driving. FML
Today, I was called a "whore," a "demon," a "piece of shit," and a "disrespectful bitch." All of this happened because I wouldn't let my mother-in-law borrow my car. This is a woman with multiple speeding tickets. FML
Today, I was pulled over for not having my car inspection up to date. I had my car inspected two weeks earlier. Since I'm at college my sticker was mailed to my home. My mother didn't want to pay the 42 cent postage, so now I have to pay $250 because my mother is cheap. FML
Today, I got a speeding ticket. My speedometer got busted a few weeks back, rendering it useless. My father, a former mechanic, decided it's not worth the trouble of going in and fixing it. "Just keep with traffic when you're on the highway; you'll be fine." This $150 fee says otherwise. FML

Next time, tell her you'll turn the car around and NO ONE will be getting ice cream :-) On a more serious note, in majority of traffic tickets if you take the time to actually go to court and plead no contest, they'll waive the ticket and have you pay just court costs.

That's a really good way to get into an accident. I don't care who you are you do not touch the drivers wheel when they are driving or distract the driver. I would have pulled over and not continued until she agreed to stop.

"Suspicious driving" is not a real legal thing you can get a ticket for. Take it to court. Police don't get to invent law on the fly.

Is she not a driver or something? It should be common sense not to mess with the driver while the car is in motion. Make her pay it and refuse to give her rides. Can't believe someone would do something so dangerous just for ***** and giggles. She could have caused a collision.

You don't pretend to loose control of a vehicle. What would happen if OP did do that and really did loose control of their vehicle??? What then? That could cause a crash, kill someone, kill an animal, hit a pedestrian, hit a parked vehicle. So I don't think that's pretending to loose control is a smart suggestions on your part, joking or not.
