Today, I found out that my mother is extremely emotional when it comes to animal deaths when a bird flew into the window and died, and she insisted we have a funeral. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I found a tiny, featherless baby bird. I knew it was impossible, but I tried to keep it alive through the day. Before I could get it to the wildlife center, it died, and when I got all choked up over it, my mom started laughing at me and saying how "weak" I was. FML
Fatal decision
Today, my mom called me an attention seeker and threw a bitch fit because my cat "decided" to die on her birthday. FML
Great lesson
Today, a robin flew into my window and died. My mom, being a biology teacher, thought it would be a great experience for my brother and me to dissect it on the kitchen table. She threatened to ground us if we didn't do it. FML
Today, my mother and grandmother informed me that my sixteen-year-old dog died. I was standing in Wal-Mart at the time. They then yelled at me because crying in public is "inappropriate." FML
Poor old Truffles
Today, my mom grabbed my iPhone and threw it from the balcony, because I didn’t cry on the fifth anniversary of our family dog’s death. FML
Today, my mom was criticizing how I can't handle taking care of any living thing because I'm too irresponsible. We had a huge argument so I went back to my apartment, only to find that my fish had died. I forgot I had a fish. FML
Today, my pet bird died. He had caught some illness and had been extremely sick for the past few days. He didn't die from the illness though. My dog ate him. FML
Today, I called my mother to check up on her. Lately, she's been having some financial problems, so last week I sent her my last $100 to help her out until her next paycheck. She used the money to euthanize the family dog. FML
Today, I received an unexpected package from my mother. It contained my cat's ashes. Apparently he died 3 weeks ago and she thought this was the best way to tell me. FML
Today, my mom came over to me and whispered something in my ear. I didn't hear it and assumed it was a joke, so I started laughing. Turns out my aunt died. FML

DON'T STEP ON THAT ANT HILL! Seriously, you'll be having funerals for the next 30 years.

My mother's pretty much the same. Not so much doing funerals. She would take that bird and do all she can to keep it alive and pray that it does. She's a PETA member... so yeah.

This... Is What I would have done too ^^;; Once there was a little bug on the windshield of The RV, holding on to not fly away and I practically begged my Mom to park somewhere so I could pick it up.

I would have done the same thing. Actually, I did once. A bird flew into our window when I was younger and the poor thing broke its neck. I was in tears and I insisted my dad give it a proper burial in the yard. Every animal that's died on our property is buried in our yard.

All the birds that ever flew into windows always got up 10 seconds later. Oh well. I guess he REALLY never saw what was coming....
