Today, I found out that my husband keeps in contact with the woman he was infatuated with in high school. He texts her more than he texts me. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
To be fair and balanced…
Today, I found out my husband is still friends with someone who talks a lot of crap about me. FML
Today, I found out that my wife had been debating leaving me for an old boyfriend from high school. They rekindled their relationship on Facebook, and talking on the cell phone. Both things I insisted she have. FML
Today, I found out that my wife has been having an affair with the guy who's been trying to get our relationship back on track. FML
Today, I found out my husband has been talking to another woman on Facebook. His only defense was, "I thought I deleted the messages." FML
Loud and clear
Today, I found out that my husband wants to leave me. I got the message loud and clear when his girlfriend forwarded me screenshots of all their texts. FML
Not OK
Today, I was sick and tired of my husband talking to his female friend from high school all the time. They reconnected after 7 years and have been talking non-stop day and night, to the point of neglecting the marriage. I told him it was either me or her. He took off his ring and kicked me out of our house. FML
Never forget
Today, I found out my husband has been messaging younger girls on Tinder and trying to meet up. I asked him why he would do such a thing when we have a healthy sex life. His response was ,“They’re just hotter, just like that senior football player you cheated on me with in sophomore year high school.” We’re 40 now. FML
Heads up
Today, my wife’s ex-boyfriend sent me a message with a screenshot of her trying to get in touch with him. FML
Today, I realized why my husband had been seemingly wanting to improve our relationship by sending little texts throughout the day for the last couple of months, asking what I was doing. It was so he could find out when would be the best time to have his girlfriend over and cheat on me. FML
Red flags
Today, I learned that when communication is getting shorter with you, it’s getting longer with someone else. My husband never tells me about his day anymore, but he constantly texts his coworker outside work. He vehemently insists she’s only a coworker and nothing else, and he’s “allowed to have friends”. To be fair he probably sees you everyday, where he does see her alot

I would say trust him, but that's just too suspicious. I say get his texts from your phone company, if it's nothing than it's nothing & you can be happy knowing he loves you. If there are some hints then you can think about how you feel with a man who only commits part of his heart to you.

I bet you he calls you more than he calls her though.. unless you guys are like text freaks, and that's the way you communicate with each other. lol

Pay more attention to his needs and he won't wander.... Just saying......

It was a high school crush so it probably doesn't mean anything. And you live with the guy. Of course you don't text often if you see him every day at home.

Oh this sounds so sad :( I am starting to wonder can a man (or a woman) only love one person to the rest of their lives. I really believe, that it's possible, but I guess with the aging people change. But after all it depends on the person. If you were the one, and he is the one, he shouldn't pay more attention to his school love. I wish you best of luck

I was in the same situation 5 years ago but it was emails, not texts. Gave him benefit of the doubt, thought maybe it was just friends. Found out a year later the emails were inappropriate. He begged me not to file divorce. A year after that, found out they were STILL exchanging inappropriate emails. Divorced him. A year later he emailed me to say what a fool he was. I never replied. He has a girlfriend. And the cycle continues....

same here. it was texts and messaging. he was always defensive when I asked about it. and I found out he completely lied to me. not just about one woman, but multiple. I had a child with this man so it's a little more complicated, but had I known the truth from the very first time I questioned and asked anything.... i wouldn't be stuck where I am today.
