Today, I showed my new tattoo to my friends. It's supposed to be a deep, philosophical quote in Latin, symbolizing strength and resilience. My friend, who happens to be fluent in Latin, started laughing hysterically. Turns out, it actually says, "You are dumb." FML
Today, I got my first tattoo. It's a large broadsword which runs the length of my spine. I went home to show it off, only to learn that the hilt on my neck looks just like a penis when the rest of it is covered with my shirt. FML
Today, I got piss drunk. Being a tattoo artist, I came to the intoxicated conclusion that I could save much more money doing my own tattoos on myself. I now have my ex-boyfriend's name permanently on my thigh. It's not even spelled right. FML
Today, I realized that the "holla" tattoo I stupidly got on my lower lip five years ago isn't fading as I expected it to, and will probably contribute to my unemployment for years to come. FML
Today, I was at a Chinese restaurant with my boyfriend and his family. After the meal, we all decided to open our fortune cookies and read them out loud. On mine, it said "You will change your mind many times before settling down." I didn't realize what it meant until after I'd read it to them. FML
Today, my boss asked me if I know anything about those tattoos that girl put on their lower backs. "You mean Tramp Stamps?" I responded. He looked at me with hatred in his eyes and said that his 18 year old daughter just got one. FML

I think you deserve it, but from your point of view that sucks. You should do what my mom did and tattoo around the tramp stamp to make it a back-piece, so it makes it less noticeable:)

I'm laughing right now because this is pretty much what happens to the majority of people who walk into a tattoo parlor trying to look "trendy" by getting kanji/orient pieces without doing any research, but, how does she deserve it?. . She trusted somebody you're supposed to trust [why would you let anybody near you with a needle if you didn't trust them] and that trust was betrayed - It was her fault, yes, but she didn't deserve it. Now I don't condone "tramp stamps" because the majority of the time at younger ages at least it does become a marker for guys to target "easy girls" [which she may not be, but it's a pretty common stereotype] but you still gotta find the irony in all of this.
