Today, I dropped my 400 dollar iphone, that's been through toilets and 6 foot falls, on a walmart floor and shattered the screen. I managed, however, to catch the 2 dollar macaroni and cheese before it hit the ground. FML

Today, after calling the insurance plan for my new iPhone a "huge waste of money", I promptly dropped it in the store while trying to put it into my pocket, cracking the screen. FML
Today, I threw my brand new iPhone 4 in the air whilst laying on my bed. It came down, went through my fingers, landed on my balls, then broke on the concrete floor. FML
Today, while walking to work, I accidentally dropped my $400 cell phone on the sidewalk. The screen shattered into a million pieces. A woman passing by looked at the ruined phone and said, "Now that's what you call a dropped call!" She laughed and kept walking. FML
Today, I bought an otter box. While setting up my iPhone, I dropped it and it is now shattered. FML
Today, I dropped a bottle when moving my cat supplies. and just my luck it fell onto my iPhone and broke the screen. I don’t have enough money to replace it. FML
Today, I stepped on the MacBook Air I purchased 4 days ago. The screen snapped in two, and I didn't buy insurance because I promised myself I would be "extra careful." $3500 well spent. FML
Today, I dropped my phone. I'd only just bought this new phone last night. It barely survived 12 hours. FML
Today, my fancy rubber phone case did its job and saved my phone from damage when I dropped it on the bathroom counter. Unfortunately, it was rather useless after the massive bounce it took before landing in the toilet. FML
Today, I got my phone fixed after the screen had been shattered for four months straight. Then, the moment they handed it to me, it fell straight to the floor and shattered. Again. FML
Today, I shattered my iPhone screen. Pieces of glass are chipping out and can easily slice up any idiot who slides their finger across the screen. Unfortunately, I was that idiot. There's blood in the cracks of my screen. FML

#34, the price of your phone has nothing to do with where you can or cannot shop. WalMart generally has pretty good prices, and, personally, if I'd gone and spent four-hundred bucks on a phone, I'd want to save where I could. Why spend five bucks when you could spend three? And this just proves that WalMart floors are like kryptonite to phones...

Geezs, Mac and cheese is two bucks now? I remember when it was 89 cents... Further proof why iPhones are poorly made. I deliberately threw my Samsung Alias against the ground (granted, it was wet grass), and it still works fine.

I dropped ny iPhone hundreds of times in toilets.. in the bathtub 2-3 times too it worked still. Then some on stole it so I cant say if it works now or not but thw point is. iPhones are amazing. I dropped my android a few times and the screen cracked. So you dont know what you're talking about

i understand how you feel. i'm like that w/ my iPod so every time i grab it w/ a handful of other things i try to mentally prepare myself to keep a firm grasp on the iPod no matter what else i drop. takes practice!!

i'm sorry. the iPhone is probably one of the best phones out there. i got my iPhone the first day it came out, then switched to the 3G the first day it came out as well. i know i won't be switching phones for a while. this phone, even though can't receive multimedia messages or record video, is still, by far, the best phone out there. i have dropped mine plenty of times, it's cracked on the back, i don't care. it works fine, and if it gets bad enough, in about a year, i'll be able to get a new one at the discounted price. no biggie. but wow, you paid 400 dollars for it? i got my 16gb for 300. :/
