Today, I decided it would be pretty amusing to press the "Like" button on everyone's status on Facebook without reading them just to get on peoples' nerves. After re-reading them later, I found out one of them said "I MISS YOU SOO MUCH GRANDMOM. RIP". I liked that her grandmother died. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, my friend thought it would be funny to hack my Facebook and "like" everybody's statuses. This includes my boyfriend's about his grandmother dying. FML
Party hard!
Today, I updated my Facebook status to, "Party at my house this Friday. Like my status if you want to come." After about 3 hours I checked back to discover that the only person who'd liked my status was my grandma. FML
Facebook's cesspit
Today, I mentioned on Facebook that I'll be out of town over the weekend, because I am attending my grandmother's funeral. I soon got comments saying "Pics or it didn't happen" and "Killed her for the inheritance, eh?" followed by a solitary "LOLLL". FML
Today, I found out my grandfather died via Facebook, because apparently both my father and my aunt think posting a status about it immediately rather than calling family is the thing to do. FML
Thoughts and prayers
Today, a friend thought it would be funny to make a R.I.P. page for me on Facebook. Most liked post? "Too bad this page is fake." FML
Today, I saw selfies of my aunt and her friends on Facebook having a great time. They took the pictures at my mother's funeral last week. FML
Today, I read my mom's Facebook status. It said, "So sick of kids, can't wait for Vegas this week!" My dad, along with 12 others, liked it. I didn't even know she was going to Vegas. FML
Treacherous smileys
Today, I added the wrong reaction to a Facebook post, using the laughing smiley instead of the hug, and only noticed two hours later, when my friend wouldn't talk to me because she thought I like found the fact that her dog died funny. FML
No love lost
Today, my estranged mother texted me saying, "Gran died, LOL." My grandmother and I were fairly close, so I was shocked and disgusted. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and asked if she knew what "LOL" meant. She did. FML
LOL
Today, I texted my friend and asked her what her sad status on Facebook was about. She texted me back, saying her step-mother had passed away. I tried to reply with "awwh" but my phone autocorrected it to "ahaha." FML

what was the other option?? at that point on Facebook, there were no reaction options. when you post something like that, what do you expect people to do?? how can you be mad that they interacted with it in one of that only possible ways?? get of your high horse.

technically, OP liked it correctly. you could say you were liking the fact the the grandma should rest in peace.

122, or the fact that she just dropped dead

haha, though it was a pretty low chance that you'd have someone on there with a facebook status like that, you still deserve it for absentmindedly clicking

It will still show up in that person's notifications that someone liked that comment and it will say who.

You clicked LIKE because you are missing her too.. right huh?

or to show she was gonna pray for her and her family...
LilMonsterGirl 10
Exactly! You liked it because you're praying for that person or offering your condolences. I had a status up about a late family member and people "liked" it because they were consoling me. Don't sweat it too much, OP!

Not necessarily. It could just mean you understand the way they feel. Unless, of course, both your grandmothers are still alive. Then you're just a dumbass.
