Today, I attended an assembly regarding senior graduation. The assistant principal told us to look to the left and right of us, because those people would be our friends for the rest of our lives. I was the only one in the entire row. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Guest star
Today, I was looking through my high school yearbook. I found a picture of myself and a couple of my friends at our senior prom. The caption gave the names of all my friends, their dates who didn't attend our school, and listed me only as "Guest." FML
Today, my teacher told the class that we had better like the people at our table because we would all be working together for the final group assessment. Everyone looked at me, stood up, and moved. FML
Today, it was my high school graduation. Everything was going fine until everyone saw my family fighting over where we would go afterwards. Security had to pull them apart. FML
No reunion for you
Today, while browsing Facebook, I found out that today was my school's class reunion. I was the ONLY one not invited. FML
Today, I tripped in front of my graduation class of 225 and all of their relatives while receiving my diploma. FML
Nice try
Today, I recently graduated from high school and I went to a college party. I met these girls and told them I graduated college already, to sound cool. I then heard one of them say, "I went to middle school with you, and I was in your math class." FML
No future
Today, I went to my best friend's wedding. All my friends and their boyfriends were seated at one table, while I, as the only single girl in the group, was put on a table with all the other single people. They were all over forty years older than me. I feel like I have seen my future. FML
Today, it was my high school graduation. Because our school colors were red, black and white, and our principal looked somewhat like Hitler, the senior class prank was to salute him when he finished his speech. I was the only one. FML
Today, was my high school's senior awards ceremony. Over 400 people were crammed in the hot auditorium. I won five awards and each time I was called up the laughter grew louder. Apparently even the back row could see my pit stains. FML
Teenage kicks
Today, I found out that ALL of my friends were in the same class and I was in a different one. They went away on camp, and I'm going to be alone for this whole week. FML

I think that's not in order for a lot of people, I hardly talk to anyone from that period. Look on the bright side, nobody in your personal space ;)

In all honesty, most of those people in the assembly you'll never hear from again like a year or two after graduation anyway.

Not many things last forever. But the rule is making the best out of your limited time,

So for you it was true. No one in your highschool is going to be your friend for the rest of your life. You'll be lucky if you stay in contact with anyone two years later.

actually a lot of high school friendships don't last and you discover that the only reason you were really friends is because you went to school together. especially true when you meet other people in college.

Tonite on Fox News - platitudinous sweeping generalisation shown to be false shock. In other news, was this broth ruined by too many cooks? Friends come and go in life

I became better friends with my coworkers then I ever did in high school. even met some great friends in college. There is no doubt you'll have amazing friends beside you throughout your life.

That's such a lie. It's rare if you have two good friends from high school you still talk to.

Total bullshit. I don't talk to a single person from high school. You make your real friends in college and beyond.

That's more accurate than if you actually had someone sitting next to you... No offense to you of course, but if you're anything like the majority you're going to want to forget your high school years as soon as they end.
