Today, at school, I have to do a 45 minute presentation with a girl who has panic attacks so bad that she cries, runs out of the room, and sometimes passes out. This presentation terrifies her and it's a major part of my final grade. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I had an extreme panic attack in the middle of class. I interrupted another person's presentation, burst into tears, and ran out of class whilst everyone looked at me. FML
Circular
Today, I had a panic attack while giving a presentation on how to breathe to avoid having panic attacks. FML
Ever decreasing circles
Today, I had to give presentation at work, for which I'd extensively prepared. However, as soon as I started speaking, I had a sudden panic attack and forgot everything I'd rehearsed. I stumbled through the presentation, feeling the embarrassment steadily grow in front of my colleagues. I almost passed out. FML
Performance anxiety
Today, I had a presentation for my university class. The bus was 5 minutes late, and I ended up getting to class right on time. As I took a seat, my group was asked to present. I panicked and totally bombed my presentation. FML
So, how did it go?
Today, it's one week until I have to attend a public speaking event that is mandatory to graduate where I live. I have severe social anxiety and even worse stage fright. Not attending the event, even with a tremendously sound excuse, will bar you from graduation. Hopefully I don't suffer a panic attack. FML
Today, I was giving a presentation to my college class. I've had a natural stutter my whole life, so I stuttered through the whole thing. My professor tried to hold in her laughter for 15 minutes. FML
Unloveable
Today, I was paired up with a girl in my class for a project. She started crying. FML
Today, I was talking about phobias and anxiety disorders in psychology class. I nearly had a panic attack because I was worried that someone might realize I suffer from them. FML
Today, at school, I was scheduled to give a presentation to my class. As I arrived, my teacher said to me, "You're bleeding from the 120th pimple on your left cheek." FML
Compassion? At school?
Today, my house caught fire right before I was supposed to present a school project. My teacher told me to, "just suck it up and do it anyway." FML

I know FYL because its important, but I have something to say. Take it easy on her. I get panic attacks too. A lot. Sometimes because of stressful situations like those, sometimes because something feels wrong in my body, sometimes for no reason in hte middle of the night. It feels like you are going to die when it gets bad, that it won't stop til you're heart explodes, or you want to faint. Your body feels numb all over, you think you'll collapse. You just feel so anxious you want to get out of wherever you are- I have to walk of metros or out of classrooms. It's hell. Try to be there for her, to understand, maybe she'll be better. Please try to calm her.

Your grade shouldn't be effected if she panic attacks. That isn't something either of you can control.

Just do it yourself. Make her do most of the slides in exchange for your presenting them. Voila!

Go on and do it no matter what happens

Does she have to speak an equal amount of the time for you to both get the same grade? If not, maybe you should just suck it up and do the 45 min yourself. Have her put together the visual aids and/or do most of the research and the bibliography, etc. Maybe even have her write the presentation. Then, she just stands there while you speak for 45 minutes. Really, though, if her panic attacks are that bad, she should see a psychiatrist. Psychotherapy and/or maybe taking something an hour before the presentation could help a lot.

Aww, I'm sorry OP. That sucks and must be really hard for you; but I'm friends with a girl who has panic attacks and anxiety so bad that if you ask her a question she breaks down in tears. Be nice to her, maybe you'll make a new friend!

Okay, I get that it's frustrating sometimes, but what she does during the presentation should not affect your grade. She's mentally ill, it's nothing that can be helped, and certainly not your fault. I'm in the same boat as her (not to the same extent I'm sure). If you have a decent professor/teacher, they'll know all that.
