Today, at my cashier job, I got written up for accepting obviously photocopied coupons. Last week, I got written up for "inadequate customer service" because I refused to accept the same bogus coupons from the same customer. FML

Today, my boss showed me a two-page letter from a customer, complaining about me because I couldn't honor a coupon that expired in 2009. He agreed that I did the right thing by refusing it, but said it would be a black mark on my record anyway due to the complaint. FML
Today, I was fired from my job over a coupon a coworker offered me for bonus reward points. Apparently, it wasn't one I was entitled to. I never even looked at the coupon and assumed it was fine since they offered it to me. FML
Today, I was working drive thru and took a huge order. When the people pulled around to the window, they handed me a stack of coupons. None of the coupons were even related to what they ordered. They made me change their order to fit the coupons because they couldn't read. FML
Today, a customer called me a "smart ass" because I helped him scan his coupon correctly. FML
Today, I work as a cashier, and as always, I asked the customer paying credit to sign the "sheet" of paper. I received a dirty look from one woman who apparently talked to the manager about me, saying I had asked her to sign the "shitty" paper. I have now been warned for "derogatory language." FML
Today, I found out that I accidentally returned a customer her $147 check she had written out to pay for her groceries and receive cash back. The lady got free groceries and money, and I'm now losing my job. FML
Today, I had a formal complaint filed against me for being outrageously rude to a customer. All I did was tell a customer that she couldn't use food stamps at the movie theater. FML
Today, at work, we had an extremely rude customer who started cussing at us, and my coworker started cussing back. I jumped on the register to quickly bring down the line, and apologized to everyone for the scene. A secret shopper was in the line and claimed that I was rude. I got written up. FML
Today, I'm a cashier in a grocery store. The visiting regional manager tore me a new one for being lazy. His reason? After working a double shift with no break, I decided to sit down for a minute when things got slow. FML
Today, I got yelled at by a customer for refusing to give a found credit card to a woman it didn't belong to. FML

If they are the store's own coupons there should be no problem copying them. If they are manufactures coupons, they need to be the real thing. Stores only get paid back for the real ones, not copied or counterfeits.

Your supervisor hates you. Because you are smarter than him. He is the supervisor only because he still works at your crappy place of employ. Everyone else was smarter than him... and left. He is angry and resentful. But you will leave soon also, for a better job. Unless you want to become the new supervisor.

Yes, they are trying to get rid of you. You should have copies of both write ups. Legally, you are entitled to see your file. Get the write ups, talk to HR. If they balk, calmly, innocently let them know that you were instucted to go to the labor board, but since you weren't sure, you're talking to them about this. And for the record, clarification of the policy is requried. This way, if you are fired, you can file for unemployment. Don't quit until you have another job.
