Today, after replacing several components on my new used car, I realized that the reason it wasn't getting the gas mileage it was supposed to because my coworkers take turns siphoning my gas while I work. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Beep beep
Today, I took my partner’s car to fill with gas because mine was in the shop. Out of habit, I put diesel into the tank. We discovered it three hours later; the tow bill ate my weekly budget, the mechanic sighed through the repair estimate, and I spent the evening on hold with roadside help. FML
Friends
Today, my dad agreed to let me borrow the car to go rock climbing with my friends. He'd just filled it up with gas, which is how I realized halfway back home that one of my "friends" had siphoned well over half the gas straight out of the tank. FML
Today, I was sent to a customer's house to switch out a washing machine. My boss had assured me that everything I'd need was already in the truck. Halfway there, I ran out of gas and I realized I didn't have the gas card. My boss says it's my fault. FML
Today, my mom sold the car I've been working on for the last few years for 100 dollars. To buy gas for her car. FML
Conked out
Today, I went to drive my mom's car for a change. It wouldn't start, so I open the hood. Someone had stolen the battery. I go to start my own car so I can drive to the police station to report the theft, and discover someone siphoned off my gas. FML
Baby you can drive my car
Today, as usual, I work nights and sleep during the day. I found out that my brother uses my car and never puts gas in it when he called me for the first time to actually ask me if he could borrow my car, and also to lend him $20 to put gas in it. FML
Smooth criminal
Today, my neighbor's son siphoned the fuel out of my lawn mower and put it in his car. What he didn't realize is that the fuel mixture I use in my lawn mower would ruin his car engine. His dad says it's my fault and actually insists I should pay his pissant son's repair bill. FML
Today, I realized that I spend more money on gas to go to my job than what I get paid. FML
Dumdum moment
Today, after my car died a mile from my house, I huffed, puffed and pushed it back to my house off the street, so I wouldn't get a ticket overnight. After getting it towed to the shop in the morning, I got a call telling me they put gas in it for me and it starts up fine now. FML
Today, I stopped at the gas station to fill up my tank and get some snacks. I paid the cashier, then got back into my car, totally forgetting to pump the $50 worth of fuel I'd just prepaid for. Too bad I didn't realize until my car came to a sputtering stop about a mile down the road. FML

Time for a locking gas cap. I hope you can find some way to get back at them, fairly.

I guess your coworkers are real gas guzzlers!

Talk to them with proper evidenses, either make them pay otherwise take legal action against them for your full compensation.

Time to A. stake it out with a camera and B. time to get a gas lock cap. I mean it sucks but there are some really simple solutions. An aside, where do you park your car that this is so easy to do? Cause siphoning gas is not what one would call a "quick and inconspicuous" act.

You should "take turns" at pissing in each one of their gas tanks

Get a new job. Then when they're working come back and do the same.

That is theft, that is a crime, call the police, or kick some ass.

Petty theft in most jurisdictions. And vigilantism is never the answer.

Unless you are driving a classic car, how is this possible? All modern (post 1980) cars have antisiphon balls in the filler neck.

It's ok, just give them all a little sugar...in their gas tanks ^^
