Today, after my bank sent me a new card because the old one had been compromised, I woke up to find that it's already been used to start an Amazon Prime account and order several movies. The card to replace a compromised card has been compromised. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Surprise!
Today, my bank, being overly paranoid about fraud, declined my Christmas purchase on Amazon because I usually don't spend that much all at once. Instead of Amazon simply asking to try the card again, they instead switched to a different card in the wallet. Which would be fine, except it's a shared family account. FML
Christmas is canceled
Today, I got an email that my Amazon account was probably hacked, and they have gone ahead and canceled all orders that seemed suspicious. Two days ago I was celebrating that I'd finished Christmas shopping early. Never mind. FML
Today, I finally picked up my new bank card after my old one was stolen. It took the bank six weeks and five separate orders to figure it out, on top of which they've charged me a rush fee. FML
Today, I received my replacement debit card in the mail after losing my previous one. I've already lost my new one. FML
Money money money
Today, my fiancé and I got a joint account recently, but when I got home he was on the phone to the bank claiming our credit card number was cloned, because of the ridiculous number of random purchases. I checked my online banking. It was all just my normal buying habits. FML
Nothing of value was lost
Today, I found out my debit card information has been compromised and that someone in San Jose, CA has completely drained my bank account. Joke's on them though. I was already broke as fuck. FML
Today, I received a new debit card, so I cut the old one into pieces. I then picked up my remaining card, and realized I'd cut up the wrong one. FML
Scammed
Today, I noticed my credit score increased by 30 points. Not understanding why, I checked credit karma and found out someone opened several credit cards in my name. FML
Interested
Today, my bank card was skimmed (copied electronically) and my account was totally cleaned out. I had only just got paid and don't get paid again for 4 weeks. The bank says it will take 21 days minimum to resolve. They offered me a credit card with a huge interest rate to help me get by. FML
Can't buy me love
Today, I realized while paying bills on my phone I fat-fingered which credit card I was paying and sent 299 to a paid-off card instead of 200 to another one. Now I'm going to have overdraft fees too. FML

How long did you have your new card for before it was compromised? Either you're really unlucky, and are one of a indeterminate number of people who has been hacked, or you're being specifically targeted because you have yet to deal with the flaw that left you vulnerable the first time. Also, it wouldn't surprise me if a friend/relative has done it as a "prank". Whatever it was, beef up your internet security before registering your next card.

Do you live with anyone? Unless you used your card somewhere really shady the night you got it, there’s no realistic way this could have happened without someone you live with using the card

You called the thieves to complain and gave them your info again. Maybe the good laugh they got will make them change

Every time the credit card companies create a new algorithm for the credit card chips, hackers crack it. Some banks do not generate random card numbers anymore, opting for a standard prefix with a suffix number that increments by 1 every card they issue. I've seen people have their information stolen before they even get their card in the mail.

Ask your Roommate/Partner/Children if they know anything about that...

I wonder if you will get a card to replace a compromised card that was supposed to replace a compromised card that was supposed to replace a compromised card that was supposed to replace a compromised card that was supposed to replace a compromised card that was supposed to replace a compromised card.

The charges are coming from INSIDE THE BANK! But seriously, how long was the gap between activation and unauthorized usage? And where did you use it?

Most of us learn through hard experience that life is all about compromise. Luckily, your bank is teaching you this in a very efficient way.

Someone is getting an early start on Prime Day! Maybe it's your whole account that's compromised and you should transfer your money out of it and put it in a new one. Either that or there's a shady worker at the bank. That definitely sucks.
