Today, after a month of searching, I found a perfect apartment which I rented out for the next few months. The rent was inexpensive and the place was close to my job. Turns out, my 'perfect' new apartment overlooks a nudist community. FML

Today, after months of apartment hunting with my boyfriend, he told me he had found a fantastic place that was really inexpensive. It seemed way too good to be true. It was. He took me to a storage unit. FML
Today, I found out that my landlord had been showing my apartment to new tenants without telling me, when I woke up this morning to a family of four staring at me scratching my nuts whilst watching TV on my couch in my pajamas, horrified. FML
Today, after being nearly homeless and couch-hopping for the last few months, I finally signed a 1-year lease. When I got home, I was surprised to see a picture of my new complex on the front page of the newspaper. It turns out that they are fighting a serious bedbug infestation. FML
Today, I got home and noticed people were looking at my next-door neighbor's house that's for rent. Peering closer, I realized my ex-boyfriend and the girl he cheated on me with a few months ago were inside. After they left, the "For Rent" sign came down. I've got new neighbors. FML
Today, I’d been dying to escape my dreary hometown, but had panic attacks at the thought of being on my own, but at last, I'd found a place I could afford. Turns out, the guy I was going to rent from was just arrested for murdering his last tenant. FML
Today, I had to deliver pizza to a nudist colony. I got an eyeful of more than I needed to see. FML
Today, my landlord started showing my apartment, where I have lived and paid rent for over 2 years, to prospective tenants. I didn't realize that I was moving. FML
Today, after taking a refreshing shower, I found out that due to a newly-built platform, people in the apartment underneath can see right into my bedroom. While I was standing there completely naked, some guy smiled at me. FML
Today, I rented a house for 5 years with my girlfriend, only to find out she is the actual owner. FML
Today, a week after spending most of my paycheck on a down-payment and rent on a new apartment, I found out the "landlord" I paid was a scammer. Turns out the real owner was away on vacation, and he'd stolen most of her stuff before showing me the place. FML

I'm assuming that you never traveled to the apartment before you rented it, so why during your "month" of research, didn't you check to see what was in the surrounding area, especially the immediate vicinity? Wow. You're an idiot.

Is it really that hard to go to Wal-Mart and get a pair of cheap curtains? Or stick a tall shelf or something infront of the window so you can't see out. OR...(haha) enjoy seeing your preferred sex nekkid. This is hardly a fml situation. A better one would have been something like what's going on in my life...which they won't f'in post, but they post this stupid thing....but anyways, let me explain.... *ahem* I've been laid off since April, they aren't bringing me back because they're sexist....but I can't prove it....I lost all my great benefits. I'm going broke because unemployment thinks they can pay me (or anybody) just enough so that they're barely getting by in life. I can't find a job. I don't have enough experience to get into most places around here...either that or they don't pay enough for me to live on. My cell phone bill is past due, and I can't get a payment plan set up for another 2 months...if I even can then. I have a credit card that I have some money to still pay off. I have fees to pay off for the online classes I'm taking.....hmmm, let's see, what else. Rent is coming up on the first, so that's bout 287$ (my half, including utilities) I'll lose, winter is also coming up so we'll need money to buy fuel to heat our house. I think I've made my point. There are people worse off than you just because you think living next to a nudist colony has ****** up your life. Thank you and have a nice day. :)
