Today, a girl came into my salon to permanently straighten her really long and curly hair. After several long hours, I went to the counter to charge her. She ran out faster than an Olympic runner. FML

In my parents country, once you get into a salon they lock the door mainly to keep criminals out, but also to keep people that are getting salon services from leaving without paying.

That's theft...should be able to call the cops. No different than shop lifting. You should be able to give the cops a good description....

That's why you get their name and phone number before booking. You should actually take a ccn first too. That way you can charge no shows a fee as well as thieves.

When we book appointments at our salon, clients must provide a credit card number to secure their appointment. That way, if they no show you or in your case run out on you, you can still charge them.
