Today, I was together with a few of my friends when I got up the courage to confess I have an eating disorder. One of my friends then said "... but you're not skinny." FML
Today, my grandmother gave me rosary beads for my birthday. She told me I'd better start praying for a husband. FML
Today, not only did my boyfriend set my hair on fire, but he attempted to put it out by dumping bong water on my head. FML
Today, while I was removing my makeup with my boyfriend watching, he mentioned that he used to think girls were prettier without makeup on, but he'd now changed his mind. FML
Today, I got a call from a girl I dated long ago, who cheated on me and got pregnant by another guy, or so we thought. Turns out it isn't his, and she is taking me to court for child support. FML
Today, my mother told my boyfriend a cute story about me when I was little. The one where my cousin and I were caught pooping in a urinal in the church basement. FML
Today, I was insulted and harassed by my sister and her boyfriend, all because I proposed yesterday. They were angry I might get married before they did. They have known each other since primary school; I met my fiancée earlier this year. FML

He didn't break up with her, he cheated on her, which is much worse. I'm sorry OP, cheating is always the cheater's fault, and your granny should have been a little more sensitive to your feelings.

Grandmas should be spoiling their grandkids rotten and having fun with them, not giving cruel and unnecessary criticism. I can't imagine either of my grandmas saying or doing something something like this to me

My grandma used to always comment on everyone's weight and they were pretty harsh comments. She even a couple times told us grandkids that we looked like shit. (ex if we were tired or sick) Some people have absolutely no filter.
