Today, while power washing my deck, a bee flew and landed on my leg. Thinking I'd just wash it away before it could sting me, I aimed the power washer nozzle at the bee. A bee sting isn't nearly as painful as power washing your leg. FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, a bee landed on my leg. I didn't realize it was there until my friend yelled out, "Bee!" kicked me in the leg, and ran off. I fell to the ground screaming and clutching my leg. She missed the bee and it still stung me. FML
Today, I was at a stop light and a bee landed on my leg. I screamed and started swatting it. It flew into my jacket and I started to strip my jacket off, taking my foot off the brake. I hit the car in front of me and deployed the air bag, breaking my nose. Then the bee stung me in the back. FML
Today, I accidentally stepped on a dead bee. The stinger was still intact. How do I know? It stung my foot. I'm allergic to bees. FML
Today, this huge wasp started flying around me. I freaked out and started running from it. Then I slipped, landed face-first in some dog poo, and got stung by the wasp on my leg. FML
Today, I saw a wasp on the ground, apparently injured and unable to fly. It was being mobbed by ants and looked certain to die, so I stamped on the ants to save its life. At this point it sprung up, stung me, then flew off. FML
Today, I saved a honey bee from drowning in our pool. It promptly stung me and died. FML
Today, I was taking a break in my work truck when I saw a huge swarm of bees flying my way. I have a hand crank window so I started cranking it up as fast as I could and the knob snapped off before it closed and I got stung by the whole swarm before I could get out. FML
Today, I was mowing my grandma's lawn when I was suddenly swarmed by bees. When my grandma saw me covered in stings later on, she said, "Oh yeah, there are tons of bees in the grass! Be careful!" FML
Today, while mowing the lawn, I was attacked by an underground hornet nest. I now have many stings, two scared dogs, and a mower still running outside. The hornets are swarming it and some are sitting on the lever, as if to turn it off. It's like they know. FML
Today, I went to clean my roof when something buzzed by my head and a sting hit my neck. It turns out there's a small nest of, like, five hornets just chilling outside of my window. I found a dead one on the desk in my bedroom. FML

At least you can "live and learn". Though I would've likely done the same if I simply reflexed without realizing it would hurt a hell of a lot more than a basic hose.

Today while at the gun range, I saw a fly land on my finger, In an effort to shoot the fly, I accidentally shot my finger off, I immediately regret that decision. FML

You lucked out, a couple of days ago I was using a 4500 psi power washer and the trigger stuck and I nearly blew my finger off. Then it whipped around on the ground and sliced my leg open. I'm not an idiot, it was just a freak accident. But then again I wasn't trying to shoot myself with it.

Wow. Your stupidity astounds me :3 Although I clicked FYL, because I get where your head was at. But damn? that's gonna leave a bruise. If it didn't blow your leg off. My uncle, being a dick, aimed a powerwasher at my cousin's shoulder a few years ago. It knocked her down, and almost dislocated it...That was from a distance, I can't imagine what it would be like from that close... :3
