Today, I was taking a break in my work truck when I saw a huge swarm of bees flying my way. I have a hand crank window so I started cranking it up as fast as I could and the knob snapped off before it closed and I got stung by the whole swarm before I could get out. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Panic on the streets of…
Today, I was at a stop light and a bee landed on my leg. I screamed and started swatting it. It flew into my jacket and I started to strip my jacket off, taking my foot off the brake. I hit the car in front of me and deployed the air bag, breaking my nose. Then the bee stung me in the back. FML
The irony stings
Today, I was driving home, it was 80 degrees out. Making a rare attempt to be eco-friendly, I turned off the A/C and lowered the windows. A bee then flew in through the window, hit my cheek, and stung me. That's what I get for attempting to be eco-friendly. FML
Bees, wasps, that sort of thing
Today, I was waiting in the car for my roommate to come outside so we could get to work. He was taking his sweet ass time. And there was a large wasp flying around. And I have a fear of bees. And the window refused to roll up. I sat there, frozen in fear, until he finally came out. FML
Today, I was going to set up my air conditioner in the window. As I opened up the window, I must have disturbed a wasp nest, because a dozen wasps flew in and several of them stung me. The rest are now somewhere in my house with my terrified girlfriend. FML
Bee plot
Today, I started my job as an assistant to a beekeeper. I forgot to put gloves on, and got stung like crazy. My hands swelled up to the size of baseball gloves. Turns out, I'm allergic to bees. FML
Fixing a hole
Today, I thought I'd patched up the hole in my window pretty well. That is, until I heard a buzzing noise in my room. There was a huge ass bee that somehow got inside and was trying to escape. I would've helped, but I'm terrified of bees, and I'm now afraid to enter my room. FML
Invasion
Today, I went to clean my roof when something buzzed by my head and a sting hit my neck. It turns out there's a small nest of, like, five hornets just chilling outside of my window. I found a dead one on the desk in my bedroom. FML
A freak out for all to bee
Today, a bee buzzed towards me, so I screamed and started frantically flailing and thrashing my arms, praying it wouldn't sting me. I threw my full cup of hot coffee in the face of the man next to me, and launched my laptop out of its bag and onto the pavement, where it broke in half. FML
Today, I was riding my motorcycle on the highway and wearing all of my gear - boots, gloves, jacket, and full-face helmet. Somehow a bee found the only spot not covered on my body and stung my neck. I'm allergic to bees. FML
Today, I returned home after a three-week trip to Jamaica. When I opened the door to my room, I was greeted by a swarm of bees and their enormous nest, which was attached to my doorknob. Apparently, I'd forgotten to close the window properly before I left. FML

I once snapped my knob when I was cranking it as fast as I could, but there were no bees or windows involved.

Maybe buy a car with electric windows or drive away from the bees?
AceGthebest 16
I'm sure op had time to buy a new car in the seconds between sighting the bees and rolling up their window
extremereviews 26
They still make new cars with manual windows
masschris 17
Not in the moment but we are a updated generation why buy a car with roll up windows?
masschris 17
But you have the option not to.

This may be surprising to some but people do still keep cars for longer than 10 years. Nowhere was it mentioned that it's a new one.

Disappointing, The story started off really good for an Apocalyptic Bee Zombie attack- - snapped off before it closed BUT I just managed to smear myself with a jar of 3 year old honey, (which just happened to on the truck floor), Confused, the zombie bee's started hovering allowing me to get my trusty pump action shot gun, ( I call him jake), Calmly I stepped from the truck. Let the Apocalypse begin.

Imma bee on the lookout for the bee gang.

IDK man, I don't really understand this one. If your window was even half way closed why would the whole swarm make the decision to enter your vehicle without any provocation? Also, couldn't you just shift into drive (or reverse depending on the circumstance) and just remove yourself from the whole situation? Maybe I'm just over thinking it.

Now I'm overthinking it lol

Yeah I don't think this would be possible if the swarm came from the front. Maybe the swarm came from the side and were following the light through the car since the rest of the truck blocked their path? Once they're in the vehicle driving away is no good. Pretty savage.
