Not now, Dave

Today, my husband cracked a "Rectum? Damn near killed him" joke at my grandfather's funeral. He had genuinely spoken without thinking, but his quick gasp and "Oh shit" sounded quite sarcastic. We were both kicked out. My family thinks I put him up to the whole thing. FML

I'm sorry, OP. Grief can make family members do thing they ordinarily wouldn't. Talk with your family so this doesn't fester.

Why would they think it was your fault that he said that? Would they really think you'd be that disrespectful? Plus, where's the proof? I hate when people just assume like that and cause shit.

Your grammar is bad and you should feel bad.

I WANT people to make jokes at my funeral! No one will be allowed to wear black or cry.

"Just open your eyes And see that "Life is Beautiful". Will you swear on your life, That no one will cry at my funeral?"

Your family*

It wasn't your grammar. You didn't need to put the 're in you're. It needed to be Your.
