Today, I'm severely hungover. Upon returning home, I came to find that both of the elevators were out of order. I live on the 12th floor. FML

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, the elevator broke in my dorm and won't be fixed for several days. I live on the 26th floor. FML
Today, the elevator in my apartment building broke down. I live on the 30th floor and am still climbing the stairs. FML
Today, my building's elevators were temporarily out of service. I climbed up 17 flights of stairs only to realize I left my keys downstairs. After the painful climb back up, the elevator lights came on. FML
Today, I walked up sixteen flights of stairs to my room to avoid the lift lines. When I was almost at the top, the fire alarm sounded. FML
Today, despite being claustrophobic and avoiding lifts at all costs, I had to use the lift at work to carry boxes of paper to the 3rd floor. It broke down. FML
Today, after climbing eight flight of stairs due to electricity outage, I got to work only to find the office locked. FML
Today, I'm at work on a construction site for a high rise building, on the 12th floor today. I've developed a severe case of the runs, causing me to need to rush to the nearest toilet periodically. Luckily for me it's conveniently located on the ground floor. FML
Today, I got stuck in an elevator for 45 minutes. I am an elevator mechanic. FML
Today, I finally sought help for my crippling fear of elevators. When I arrived at my new therapist's office, I found the door to the stairs locked. To get to my appointment on the third floor of the building, I have to take the elevator. FML
Today, I woke up extremely hungover. I couldn't find my car keys so I went out to my car to see if I had locked them inside. I walked back to the door of my apartment barefoot and empty handed, only to find that I had locked myself out of the apartment. FML

Well...I could say YDI for being hungover...but 12 floors would suck regardless if you're hungover or not. My first year living in a dorm, I lived on the 12th floor...not one single person that lived on that floor with me ever took the stairs...for everyone who's like "oh that's great exercise, don't be lazy". Let's see you all do 12 flights then, hard asses.
