Today, I was watching Animal Planet while babysitting my 4 year-old niece. A really cute baby bunny came on and I called her into the room, only for her to see it get killed by a Bald Eagle. Now she won't stop crying. FML

Today, I was babysitting my niece and let her watch cartoons on YouTube while I cooked dinner. She screamed as I was cutting up carrots and I cut myself. She had turned on an episode of Happy Tree Friends and was now crying and wouldn't stop. My brother thumped me for not watching her. I now have a cut hand and black eye. FML

did you try to save the cute bunny by jumping into the T.V in slow motion saying noooooooo in slow motion too?

maybe you should think ahead cuz usually those shows are about the circle of life, not just showing you cute little bunnies.

I moderated!

37- is that a new app?

Kids got to learn sooner or later, just tell her that the eagle had to feed it's babies!

At least now she knows what really happens in the wilderness.

Just give her a lollipop...

She's gotta learn somehow! in the meantime you could just stick on some actual kids programme?

ouch, well next time i probably go with a more suitable tv show, and if she's four shouldn't you be watching her and not the tv?

You don't honestly believe that parents have to cling and hover over a four year old 24/7 do you? At four they have reached and age where you are allowed to let them play alone in their rooms. You just have to check in on them occasionally.

Read the fml, it's not a parent it's a babysitter. If you're being PAID to watch the child, that's what you should be doing. And I know first hand from watching my nephews that four year olds generally can't be by themselves for more than 5 mins without breaking something, getting hurt, or crying

if he cries it's a good sign, it means he's still alive.

Ah well, shit happens right.
