Today, I was mowing the lawn while wearing gym shorts. Because I had no pockets, I tucked my phone into the waistband of my shorts. I didn't notice my phone had slipped until the lawnmower started making an awful sound. FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, my smartphone fell out of my cargo shorts pocket onto the floor of my friend's car. I didn't even notice until he drove me home, where I noticed that the pocket was empty. FML
Today, I left my phone outside on the grass while I went inside to get a drink. I didn't expect my dad to run over it with the lawn mower. FML
Today, I went surfing, got a few rides, then realized I had my phone in my pocket. FML
Today, I was taking my phone out of my pocket when it caught on the fabric and began to fall. I managed to catch it, but also smacked myself in the balls in the process. FML
Today, after working out at the gym, I went to grab my bag, and realized that my phone was missing. Panicking, I reached into my pocket, pulled out my phone, and dialed my mom's number to tell her I'd lost it. It took me until the last ring to realize what I was doing. FML
Today, I was finishing up at the gym and packed my bag to come home. I set my phone on top of it for a second as I knelt down to tie my shoes. Less than a minute later, I grabbed my bag to walk out, forgetting that it was on top. It tumbled to the ground and smashed. Guess I need a new phone. FML
Today, I had to mow the lawn with a weed-whacker because it rained a lot the past week and the push mower was broken. I started "mowing", and forgot that I was mowing where the dogs take dumps, I absentmindedly whacked over dog poop… which got flung into my face. FML
Today, I ran out of breath while mowing the lawn. I was on a riding lawn mower. FML
Today, I checked my jacket pocket for my smartphone, all while still holding my smartphone. FML
Today, I was walking home, when I realized I didn't have my phone on me. After retracing my steps, I realized that I'd been listening to music from my phone the entire time. FML

I'd be more worried about the lawn mower, think about the chipped blades.. Lawn mowers are expensive, phones are cheap compared to the price of a lawn mower.

I don't know where you live, but around here you can get a pretty good quality (according to Consumer Reports) lawnmower for less than half the price of a new top shelf smartphone. Unless you get an iMow. Then you're paying triple the price for no better quality. And who really wants a white mower anyway?

I clicked YDI because I honestly can't figure out why you would need your phone with you to mow the lawn. Seriously, you can leave it inside and you won't die.
