Today, my boyfriend dumped me during what was supposed to be a romantic getaway at a remote log cabin. FML
Today, I saw my long-distance boyfriend for the first time in 8 months. He dumped me on the spot because I was "uglier" than he remembered. FML
Today, I am pregnant, and my boyfriend dumped me, saying that he didn't want to be stuck in anything too serious. FML
Today, I went to spend some time with my family. Unbeknownst to me, while I was having quality time with my family, my boyfriend of a year and a half was packing up his belongings and going back to his estranged wife. FML

Oh, cool, just kick the poor girl while she's down. Don't demean her because she wanted to look good for her boyfriend. Makeup does nothing but accentuate the already beautiful features. Some girls don't care for it, some women want a lot of it. Time varies and it's not always easy to apply. Just saying.

Well one could say that any decent person being dumped deserves better, in the sense that they deserve to be with someone who loves them, and not necessarily meaning that the person they were with before was a douche. That's how I mean it when I comment on a breakup with certain unknown variables. But you're right that that probably isn't what most people are thinking, and it is sort of a double standard.
