Today, it's been a year since my wife agreed to an open marriage. A friend said at the time that she would get a lot more sex than me, and would end up leaving me. I ignored him because he's a basement dwelling Trump supporter who's never had a girlfriend. Turns out he was completely right. FML
Today, my wife of 6 years came out as a lesbian. I moved out of state and away from family to start a new life with her. Turns out she's attracted to my mom. FML
Today, my wife has been super into sex lately, she even let me try some of the stuff she said no to before, and even surprised me with some of the kinky stuff she’s always wanted to try. Sounds great, right? Nope. Turns out she was overcompensating from the guilt of also fucking my coworker. FML
Today, my wife lost interest in sex a long time ago. I’ve tried to reignite her interest lately, which culminated in an argument where she gave me permission to go out and shag other women. We might as well divorce at this point if she’s going to say things like that. FML
Today, I found out that my wife has been having an affair with the guy who's been trying to get our relationship back on track. FML
Today, my wife's friend's husband broke the unwritten "man rule" of not being TOO good of a husband. He turned over a new leaf and started really busting his ass, so his wife bragged on him to my wife, and now she's sulking and refusing sex. FML
Today, I got off early from work to catch my wife screwing her co-worker in our bed. I ask her what I did to deserve this. She told me she was “lonely” and that he “always makes her feel like a woman,” unlike me. She would come home from work and I would initiate intimacy, but she would decline every time. FML
Today, I found out my wife cheated on me with a guy from her work three times, two months before I proposed to her. She decided to tell me three months into our marriage. FML
Today, my wife was finally in the mood after 150+ attempts to seduce her and I was drunk to keep it up. Now she's upset and thinks I'm not attracted to her. FML
Today, I found out that my wife has had more sex in the last two months than I have in our last year of marriage. FML

Communication is the key to an open relationship. It sounds like you two were not on the same page. I’d recommend lots of talking and maybe therapy if necessary before either of you branches out again.

Nah, at this point therapy is mostly done for. If this is his wife’s attitude, she needs to be an ex. She has no respect for him, thinks little of him, and wanted permission to see and sleep with other men, but keep her husband around as a fall back, or economic stability, or something else. The level of disrespect and borderline contempt she has for her husband means that if he has any self respect, he should give her the boot. If she really thinks “my husband is such a poor catch that no one would want him,” barring a major change of heart on the wife’s part, he needs to go, and live his life. Note: I’d give the same advice for a woman whose husband expects/requests permission to have an “open” relationship but won’t afford his wife the same courtesy.
