Today, my stepdad punched me in the face after I told him I hated him. He and my mom came in 10 minutes later to try to convince me that I'd made it up in my head that he'd punched me. My face was still red. FML

Today, I got punched in the face after I beat my stepbrother at Mario Kart. I didn't really get hurt, but he managed to break a finger. My stepmom blamed the whole thing on me, accusing me of being violent and a bad influence on her son. FML
Today, my dad stopped me mid-sentence and said he wanted to punch me in the face and set me on fire for using the word "selfie". FML
Today, I thought it would be funny to scare my dad for once, since he has scared me for fun dozens of times. It would have been funny, had he not punched me in the face. FML
Today, my mom got drunk and punched me in the nose, then yelled at me for bleeding on the carpet. FML
Today, I was at a restaurant when I heard a young girl telling her father she didn't think she was pretty. When I got up to leave, I walked past her table and told her she was beautiful. Her dad then punched me in the face. FML
Today, I found out that all the allegations made against my father were false. I tried to apologize for not standing by him, but he punched me in the face and told me that he hated me. My nose is broken. I won't press charges because I know I deserve it, but… FML
Today, my sister punched me in the face. My dad was actually annoyed with me when I told him. He said I'll never be a "real man" if I can't take a hit from a girl. FML
Today, my mom and dad got into a fight, during which my dad said to my mom that her health conditions were of her own doing. Because of that, I got pissed and had a fight with my dad, taking my mom's side. Turns out, my mom took his side and ratted me out. FML
Today, my mom complained that I was being too loud, and she smacked my head really hard. All while screaming at me. FML
Today, my mom got blackout drunk and tried to fight me, my stepdad, and my brother, resulting in my stepdad leaving, my brother getting two holes from a metal shelf my mom tried to joust him with, and I got bit. FML

Your mom is the worst, siding with the guy that hits her child. Go to the authorities and get help or you risk things getting worse and worse.

If you're under 18, I would call tell someone outside of your family and call CPS. If you're over 18, there's not much you can do about it now. If it happens again, make sure you take photos of any injuries/evidence of the incident and call the police.

Well duh, but since the stepdad & mom fiercely deny that it happened and at this point any physical evidence is gone, there's nothing they can do. All that'll come of them calling the cops on the stepdad is anger & resentment. On both sides.

To be fair to the mom if he punches the kid he’s definitely beating on her too. He probably threatened to smack her around more if she didn’t go along with his dumb plan. Bad situation all around.

I highly recommend that you take this to the police. This abuse by him, and your mother defending him by saying it never happened is why there are so many children mentally scarred in the world. Please, take it from someone who has an abusive father, tell the police.
