Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, while applying deodorant, my mom came up behind me slapped the stick out of my hand, and confiscated it, saying, “No one needs deodorant when it’s this cold.” At work, I got so many complaints about my B.O that I was sent home to go take a shower. I shower every single day. FML
Today, my mother chewed me out for not wearing deodorant and smelling of B.O. I was wearing plenty of deodorant. My shirt just smelled like my boyfriend, whom I'd been cuddling with earlier. FML
Today, my mom yelled at me because even though I shower thoroughly twice a day, I still stink. My mom showers once a week, never wears deodorant, and smells like roses. FML
Today, my mom and I had a fight in the car over who farted. The result? She wanted to smell my underwear when we got home, to prove it was me. FML
Today, as I was brushing my teeth, I heard my mum praying to God to help her "get rid of such a stupid child". I have no idea what I've done wrong, and she's refused to talk to me all day. FML
Today, I discovered that my mom bought roll on stick glue that looks quite a bit like deodorant. It was early in the morning and I was groggy. Long story short, I had to cut every one of my pit hairs. FML
Today, my mom had a tantrum and screamed at me over my use of bronzer. She called me a selfish bitch and claimed that I'm somehow slowly giving myself skin cancer. FML
Today, my obsessive-compulsive mother barred me from using the toilet she had just cleaned. She told me to wait until tomorrow. FML
Today, my mom got mad at me because I wouldn't write to Ellen Degeneres about her. She now won't talk to me. FML
Today, my mom's obsession with cleanliness hit a new low when she bitched at me for having trash in my trash can. FML

You could always give her yours and go buy a new one.

Nobody NEEDS deodorant and using something that has been in other people's sweaty places is gross to no end. What's this "this woman gave you life" nonsense people keep bringing up every single time someone says something about their mother?

Doesn't sound like you're going to miss out on quality conversations.

Good Lord! The woman gave you life and raised you and you couldn’t help her out when she needed a little deodorant? YDI

That’s the pits! You stink! She carried you for nine months in her belly, pushed you out of her ******, changed your dirty diapers for years, and you can’t help her out? You owe her, big time!

I'd sooner pay my mother back for all her hard work with interest than let her borrow my used deodorant stick.

And you refused her WHY? It seems you're the one making a big deal out of nothing. Obviously she needed deodorant, and you refused your own mother for petty squeamishness?
