Hell no!

Today, the girl I've had a crush on for a year finally said she'd go out with me. On the way over to pick her up, she called me and said she couldn't go because she was going out to dinner with her ex-boyfriend to talk things over. She asked if she could use the reservations I had made. FML

You should have said no and taken your mother because that would have been a sweet gesture

wow she sounds like a bitch anyway. haha number 6, that's cute.

You should have said yes and then called to cancel the reservations before she got there.

tell her to go **** herself

That's just evil. I'd be pissed at her.

If you do really love her this was maybe your last chance to let her know, because apparently she haven't noticed even after a year. You should tell her you madly love her and want her to be happy and you're the only one that can make it happen - so you let her take the reservation under one condition: she promises to break up with her ex for good. If not, follow #16's instructions. That'll teach the bitch!

Ouch, I like the cancel the reservations idea. At least you didn't spend money on her.

Atleast you know that had she not had the boyfriend, she would have tried with you. Also i think you should appreciate that she told you the truth and didn't lead you on. Btw, you don't mention how long they've been split. That makes all the difference coz if it's recent maybe she was just going to dinner with "a friend" and doesn't know that you like her? Besides you don't wanna be the rebound guy. Sounds like she's pretty confused and sadly sounds like she lost the best thing ever...you! But asking for your reservations? That's low, don't even bother about the chick man. She's clearly still has feelings for the ex.

I agree with numbers 16 and 19. I have no idea who you are, but I am going to assume that you deserve better. It's one thing to want to fix things with an ex. They might have kids together, share property, or maybe just have a lot of history. That's understandable, but then to ask for your reservations? Who the hell does that? That's just an unnecessary kick in the balls. That was a really bitchy move. Just remember, there's always someone out there better for you.

I don't think you want to spend time with her now anymore anyway. At least I wouldn't. It sucks big time but at least you got it in a pretty early stage that she doesn't have a nice personality.
