I'm sorry but you're an idiot. I've been sneaking midnight snacks for years in a house with stone and hardwood floors. Luckily, the back wall is about 50% window with no drapes or shutters(not fun when you're only in a towel and your neighbors are pervs and gossips. Anyway, I can see from moonlight or the glow of the city. Just turn your cell or ipod on a low lighting and point it a few feet in front of your feet. Or grope your walls. If you just moved in, then tough shit. YDI.

i feel your pain, just a moment ago the same happened to me. except it was my sister and not my mom. so yeah, almost fell over opening the bedroom door and ran into the bathroom door thinking it would be open, come back to my room where i left the door open yet it some how magically closed so i wound up running into that too. i guess it makes it better that i don't actually live here, but seriously i have done better.

I am able to sneak a Hot pocket and put it in our 21 year-old microwave (which sounds like a vacuum cleaner) with my mom sleeping on the couch, which is, about 16 feet from our fridge. Plus, one of my house's walls is about 90% windows, so the moonlight shines through a bit.
