Today, and ever since my girlfriend insisted we needed a dog, our lives have been taken over by the little bastard. She can’t leave without him chewing everything from separation anxiety. He bites me if I so much as walk near him. Neither of us want him anymore but she feels too guilty to rehome him. FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, and everyday since we got a puppy in March, my husband is jealous of the puppy who follows me everywhere. He was the one that wanted the puppy and now he practically hates it. FML
Today, my new dog broke out of his new crate, ate my door, pissed on the floor, and trashed my room. I got him to help with my anxiety, but all he does is give me more anxiety. The worst part is that I adopted him as a favor to a friend, because she couldn’t handle him. FML
Today, my girlfriend is so stubborn, she refuses to admit she hates the dog she insisted she had to have 6 months ago. I also hate dogs, so I told her everything dog-related was her problem, especially the pee/poop. Everyone knows she hates the dog but she still refuses to rehome it. FML
Today, my dog is much too fond of barking at me loudly and at length for no reason. So is my girlfriend. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I are devastated to return our newly adopted "cat friendly" dog to the shelter. He's perfect, other than the fact that he clearly wants to eat our cats. FML
Today, my stepdad is insisting that we either get rid of my dog or euthanize him because he bit me. FML
Today, my mum has a rescue dog who grew up in a cage and, even after 18 months of love & stability, is still extremely loud and aggressive. So, bottom line, she ruined not only her own life, but also her partner’s, her cats’, mine, and the neighbours’, all so that ONE little arsehole canine can have a nice life. FML
Today, the dog my now ex-boyfriend and I own together bit me bad enough that I needed stitches on my face and my hand... he then broke up with me and saying it was all too much for him and has kept the dog... FML
Today, I don’t ask much, just a bit of peace and my armchair, but now I don’t get either since my wife rescued a pitbull that weighs 8 stone, barks constantly and hates me. The first night it was here, it sat on my chair and bit me when I tried to move it, then overnight tore my chair to bits. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I broke up. He now argues that he should keep the dog. We only dated for three months, and I've had the dog since I was ten. FML

It could be worse, imagine it was your child… If you cannot figure how to train your puppy, you will need to find it a new home. In the future consider an older dog if you feel the need for a dog.

crate or put it in a large carrier. don't leave it out. y'all definitely need to figure out if you're gonna put in time, effort ,and money and train it/get it trained. if not then don't be upset that it acts like that!

Also, maybe the Santa Claus effect could work in having the dog stop biting you. Ask your girlfriend to be the only one who feeds the dog or give it treats. That, plus doggy training classes, will work... as long as you both show up in class.

If only there were a way to figure out how to train a dog, like some sort of videos or books, or a TV show or something. Or someone you could pay to train it. Sadly, no one has ever needed to train a dog before, so nothing like that exists. Idiot.
