Gimme my stuff

Today, I learned that last week, the UPS man gave my package to my neighbor for safekeeping. It was over five-hundred dollars' worth of merchandise. My neighbor left for Canada on Saturday. FML

Maybe they're the type of people who leave spare keys? Or you could call them and ask if they had someone house sit who could let you in?

Well hopefully they will give it back OP; assuming they're coming back.

I don't think your neighbour skipped the frickin country over a measely dropped-in-their-lap surprise $500 worth of stuff??? I mean, that amount is not totally insignificant, but surely not enough to leave the country over. How do you know the package was even left with them??

..Did you read the FML?

Report it! It's stolen merchandise and you can't just take that lying down.

Where I live, they drop the packages & leave! No doorbell, nothing! They've never rang the bell, not once! I've had packages stolen before! It sucks! Actually, my ipad 3 was delivered that way! I found it when I left to go somewhere!

You should sue UPS

well to be fair canada is better in everyway. if i lived in new york I would leave for canada too.

I would report that to the cops.

If you contact UPS, they could be responsible for the items since they delivered it incorrectly.

So go to Canada and retrieve it. I'm only half kidding; it'll be a nice road trip :)
