Today, my dad agreed to let me borrow the car to go rock climbing with my friends. He'd just filled it up with gas, which is how I realized halfway back home that one of my "friends" had siphoned well over half the gas straight out of the tank. FML
Figure out who it was, and siphon their tank 'til it's nearly empty.

You do know that the remains of a gas tank are all the debris right?

OK, the distance, d, from your house to the rocks is at most 1/3 of the range of your dad's car (range = mpg x tank capacity). The maximum is the case where your friend sucked out exactly half of the gas. (If he sucked out more, d would be greater.) Without siphoning, the OP would have made returned home with 1/3 of a tank remaining. With the theft, he ran out of gas halfway home.
Now, where's my motherfrackin' scholarship?!?!
I'm impressed but in practical circumstances, he/she would've had to had at least enough gas to get him/her home if they hadn't been able to siphon the gas, just in case. So, not sure how practical that application is.
79 It's a reference. I assume he is not happy that he pays that while I pay what I pay. So he might be annoyed to send ninjas after me like that. So i was asking him not to do it.
How could you a) Be gone so long that you don't notice someone stealing your gas or b) not notice that someone hasn't been with the group for a long time...
Well, unless the method for taking gas from a car has changed significantly over the years, I don't think it takes all that long. So the friend could say he had to go to the rest room, steal the gas, then come back In explaining he was gone so long cause Tacobell upset his stomach.
If your dad believes you, then you get the lecture about how people like that aren't your friends, which you seem to know since you put 'friends' in quotation marks. So if your dad starts to lecture you just be like "Dad, I know. Look how I wrote it on FML" and then you show this post to him
Have you just experienced an FML moment?
Feel like sharing it with the other FML users?
Thanks, your FML was submitted, and will appear in the moderation queue soon!

I'm sure it has nothing to do with him focusing on climbing and not dieing.

Your friend is one shiesty ****** stealing gas now a days is like stealing gold. Man you better make him fill your dads car back up.
lilhellian 27
Shitty* And only difference is an ounce of gold is more then a gallon of gas will ever reach.

Na I meant shiesty and I know its a big difference, it was just a joke saying how gas is very expensive now a days.
