Collection
Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I found out that people in the apartment to the left, in the one to the right and in the one above mine all tested positive for Covid, a week ago. FML
Today, I found out my roommate was exposed to COVID back on New Year's. She tested positive on the 4th and was scared too tell me because she, "didn't want me to see her as irresponsible." Now I can't work for 2 weeks and need to find a place to stay because my roommate still doesn't think it's "that serious." FML
Today, I tested positive for Covid. Not only do I feel absolutely miserable, but I was at work all day yesterday, interacting with the public. Also, the day before that, I hung out at a friend's house with a 3-month-old infant. If any one of them get Covid, it's my fault. FML
Today, I'm quit my job after finding out that there were multiple confirmed cases of Covid-19. It wouldn't be a big deal, if I didn't find out that people aren't following safe distancing, checking their body heat, walking about without face masks, and leaving the entire site dirty as fuck. FML
Today, I was fired from the restaurant I work at because I missed my shift. I missed it because I was in the hospital for food poisoning from the meal I ate at work last night. FML
Today, I'm in quarantine after testing positive for Covid. Two weeks after starting a new job. Two months after receiving the vaccine. FML
Today, I found out that the same doctor who came over to run Covid tests on my family actually infected us with it. FML
Today, I would’ve been allowed to return to work after recovering from an accident two months prior. Yesterday, I had to start self-isolating after having gotten infected with Covid at one of my mandatory store trips. FML
Today, I found out my coworker faked having COVID so she could go on vacation. I guess she forgot that we follow each other on Instagram. I saw all her pictures of her drinking and at the beach enjoying herself. I’ve been doing the bulk of her work and staying overtime. FML
Today, after a week of staying in at night and fighting off a persistent cold, I was finally feeling well again, so I decided to go to my boyfriend's work BBQ. I got food poisoning. FML

The COVID sucks. As for Hep A I really hope you are vaccinated, which would cut your risk significantly. I also wouldn’t my want to go to that restaurant in the future.

As far as the Hep A, talk to a lawyer and file a complaint with the local agency that inspects and licenses restaurants. I got e. coli after a restraunt refused to pay to fix their drain issues and had sewer water coming back up into their dishwashing sink. I was so sick I threw up bile from my small intestines. Hep A is worse as it means they hired someone that shouldn’t be working in a kitchen, let alone a food place. Hep A is only transferred via food when a business doesnt do health checks, background checks, and usually negligence as well. The lawyer may be able to get them to cover medical costs at least, but some states have statutes and getting it on record also helps pinpoint from start leaving no doubt of how you acquired it when you go to trial (sometimes up to 4 years) later.
