DIY FML
Today, my boyfriend told me he'd come over and help me move a heavy dresser so I could paint the wall behind it. After an hour of waiting for him, I decided to move it myself. He finally arrived, not ten minutes after I broke my toe when I accidentally dropped the dresser on it. FML

That particular 10 minutes must have seem long to you then, huh?

No, he came ten minutes AFTER she broke her toe.

How did you not deserve this?

how exactly did OP deserve this ?!!
Clawsified 6
Because the OP was too impatient to wait for the pre-arranged help to move the furniture that she had already decided was too heavy for her to safely move by herself. The result was exactly what she assumed would happen -- that she would injure herself moving it alone, which is why she asked for help in the first place. Now it's your turn to answer the question.

I don't understand why people Re blaming OP, her boyfriend was taking some time and it's not like she could just sit around all day and wait!
