Today, I’m trying to be healthy. My friends suggested I keep junk food out of the house so I don’t crave it. Yeah, that didn’t work. My car wouldn’t start so I actually made the four-mile walk to the nearest grocery store to get junk food. FML
Eight-mile round trip on foot? Yeah, that junk food will be worked off in no time. If you want, you could ask the grocery store to only sell you healthy food as an added measure.

Like most people have said- you made a good decision. If you want the bad stuff bad enough to work for it, you're going to end up with better habits.
Someting i did a few years ago to help me reduce my carbs was not to buy sweets or bread ready made. I bought ingredients. If i wanted it badly enough i had to bake it and it became inconvenient to binge on those carbs like I used to.
I permanantly changed my eating habits on sweets that way. Good luck! Stick with it.
Have you just experienced an FML moment?

Well if you did that walk briskly every day the walk would burn off the calories! :D

Suggestion: to keep from craving junk food I actually keep a candy bar in my purse. I never eat it and if I do it’s only a bite

LOL I don’t see how this helps because you can just take the candy whenever you want and what’s stopping you is self control

You're NOT trying to be healthy! Not sure what you are doing, but trying to be healthy is NOT what you are doing!

You walked four miles to sabotage your own plans to be healthier?
