Today, I accidentally clamped my hair straightener down on my ear. Eleven hours later, it still feels like I have a burning, swollen fireball hanging off the side of my head. FML

That sounds painful I have never burned my ear. I always burn my neck or my back.

Thanks but my natural hair is straight it gets wavy at the bottom so I use a straightener.

Same with my hair. I always straighten my ends. And when I try to curl my hair, it won't hold.

I curl the top because my hair will flatten out. By the end of the day it looks like I curled the bottom. You should use lots of hairspray it might stay longer.

i burned my chin once... it didnt hurt for a little bit so i didnt put ice on it... when i woke up in the morning for school, there was a huge blister that hurt horribly... lol ice it and then dont pick the scab like i did.. itll leave a scar ... :p

Straighteners get really hot. Plus it actually not that hard to burn your chin. I've never gotten that bad of a burn before though.

I have two marks on my arm from the straightener. My mom was about to straighten my hair so I sat on her bed and fell on it. Btw, I would do it myself, but I can reach the back. Plus I'm too impatient XD
