Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, my father stole the money I'd saved up by working and spent it all gambling. I'd saved it up for a year for a new car. FML
Today, I found out my dad stole money from me when he was arrested for buying Oxycodone from an undercover cop. FML
Today, my step dad stole over $400 worth of savings from me. He spent it on alcohol, fireworks, and a very large sombrero. FML
Today, I found out that my dad has been trying to take money out of my savings account to pay for divorce fees and a hammock. FML
Today, I caught my dad stealing my money again, after I'd warned him he was on his last chance. I threw him out, since he’s been sleeping rough on my sofa. He reported me to the authorities for "elder abuse" and showed them fresh bruises I know the conniving old bastard gave himself. I was handcuffed. FML
Today, I found out all the money my dad has been saving in the bank for me since birth has all been spent, by my mother who I haven't seen or talked to in about two years. FML
Today, my dad refuses to let me inherit all of his money, which might just put a roof over my head when I’m older. *His* money? Well, actually, he inherited it. FML
Today, my dad got drunk and played a practical joke on me; a practical joke that resulted in my knee being broken. Now, I'm sitting in a hospital bed all alone while my dad hunts for "hot nurses". FML
Today, I was conned out of £50,000 by my own father, who everyone thought had been dead for 3 years. FML
Today, I found out my father has been saving money to help me buy my first car. In the same conversation, I found out my mother, unbeknownst to my dad, used nearly all of the money to bail my drunken, deadbeat uncle out of jail for the fourth time a month ago. He's now back in prison. FML

Time for a second lawsuit, and possibly a felony charge.

100% this! The only thing is, if he's a child living with the parent, and the child is not technically an adult, it may be a bit of a tough battle. I hope you get it all set OP. That's absolutely terrible.

Kill him and you’ll inherit it all back. And they can’t charge you with murder because you’ve got brain damage. It’s a perfect plan!

Depends on what he spent it on. A house? Good. Vacations, hookers, and drugs? Bad.

I don't know... Vacations, hookers and drugs sound pretty good to me. Especially if it's all three together.

OK, now you need to have an "accident" befall your father which causes him brain damage, and then he can sue and collect a ton of money which you can then steal and then... oh wait.... hmmmm

Time to start a new law suit. Why shouldn't you when he obviously didn't care about you?
