Today, I asked my mother-in-law to watch after my baby daughter. When I returned home, my baby's ears were pierced. FML

I would probably flip my shit. She had no right to do that to your child, especially without you or your husbands permission!

I don't understand why people want to force metal through a child's ears. Let them decided if they want to do that when they're older.

Reminds me of that FRIENDS episode where Rachel's sister did that to Emma

Take the studs out and the piercing will close right up

Sue. That's reckless endangerment of a child, physical assault with intent to harm, plus you could also sue for emotional and physical damages. Oh and press charges against her and the business that let this happen.

NO MORE FALAFEL FOR HER. On a serious note, that's so rude. I hate it when people pierce their baby's ears, and it's not even her damn baby. But take them out and they'll close up. Still, not acceptable.

This reminds of an episode of F.R.I.E.N.D.S- although it involved Rachel's sister. But fyl

This kinda sounds like that one episode from Friends.

I would flip out on her. She has absolutely no right to do anything to your child. You left her in her care and expect her to be taken care of, not taken to get her ears pierced without your expressed permission. Good luck OP and don't let her off the hook. Put your tiger stripes on and rip her a new one

Do what Rachael did I don't remember what that was tho

So it's doing someone a favor to force bits of metal into them when they have no say in the matter? It's a bit like circumcising a baby boy. Painful and unnecessary.
