I recall being in a Claire's WHILE a baby was up front getting her ears pierced. Her mom and aunt were there, but the baby wouldn't stop crying. She just kept bawling, and the employee kept looking at the mom all worried, like 'are you SURE?' And the mom kept nodding. Baby did NOT want pierced ears. Got her ears pierced anyways. Always stuck with me-why would you pierce a baby's ears? The baby doesn't know what's happening, except that someone they trust is sticking NEEDLES in their ears!
If you take them out and keep her ears clean it will probably heal on their own. At Least that's what happened when I didn't where earrings for a while.
However what what ever the minimum is so they don't get infected.

I would probably flip my shit. She had no right to do that to your child, especially without you or your husbands permission!
I don't understand why people want to force metal through a child's ears. Let them decided if they want to do that when they're older.
