Today at 3:30 in the morning my parents caught me sneaking back in from seeing my boyfriend....They thought we were having sex. I have major depression and insomnia and I needed him to be there for me. They forced me to break up with him and I'm grounded for the rest of my senior year. FML.

Today, my well meaning but distant uncle thought I’d like a shirt that said “Bite me and beat me and whip me and fuck me” for my birthday. This wouldn’t be as bad if I hadn’t opened it in front of my mother and grandmother. FML

Today, while visiting family with my 3-year-old daughter for Halloween, I was berated, called a feminazi, and barred from all further family functions. Why? I dressed my daughter up as Batgirl instead of a princess. FML

Today, I was having some problems with my computer, so I took it down to my schools IT department. I'm 90% sure they saw the erotic Harry Potter fan fiction I forgot I was working on in a word doc I had open. FML

Today, I had to get supplies from a superstore. I was trying to get around a lady, and I had a dry cough. She told me off for "huffing at her", even after I told her it was just a cough. FML

Today, I stayed home while my husband went to a friend's house. At 1:30am he calls letting me know, due to a fight, we would now have a house guest for X-amount of time. We rent our home, we are having a baby early Dec. & moving in the next 2 months. Something ALWAYS happens when I'm not there.FML

Today, I fell for a website scam that offered cheap samples for anti-aging cream. Signing up for the sample automatically signs you up for a $200 monthly subscription. When I called the company, the woman on the other end started crying. FML

OP here. So yeah, it was a cheap sample and they said they needed my credit card information to make sure I only got one. Also, I followed a people website article that said the star of the show flip or flop worked on it. Well that turned out to be a fake version of the website, and the woman is suing the company. Anyway, I told my bank and they've settled it now. I felt bad for the woman crying, because I heard her crying to one of her coworkers that it was a terrible day and she was ready to quit. Was it worth it to have a FML published? Probably not...

Today my housemate had a go at me for calling him by his real name. Since I’ve moved in, he’s started wearing dresses 24/7 and insists I call him Hannah. I have no choice but to live here for another 4 weeks. FML
