Today, I had to go to work on my day off to suspend someone. Afterwards, I got a call saying I can't suspend the person in question because the supervisor who told me to suspend them was wrong. FML

Question, why didn't the supervisor who told you to do it, not just do it and instead called you in to do it? Sounds fishy, or at the very least like poor management

This confused me as well. So now you've suspended someone who you weren't supposed to suspend. Clearly someone must have called you Into work since it was your day off.. Was this the supervisor who was wrong?

Because it was "a learning and respect opportunity" for me to do it, apparently. What did I learn? Not to listen to her!
