Today, I was hit by a car speeding through an intersection after the light had already turned red. Still partly blacked out, I crawled onto the sidewalk and I sat down. The woman rolled down her car window and yelled, "Watch where you're going!" as she drove by. FML

Unless it happened on some backroad in the middle of the night, someone will have either heard it or saw it happen.

That's a huge offense and I hope you at least got the make and model of the car that hit you. Chances are she didn't make it too far before getting stopped, but the important thing is you're still alive. (starts chuckling)

I'm not sure I believe this. As someone mentioned before, it would be pretty difficult for the OP to be hit, crawl to the sidewalk, and then have the driver be close enough to hear the statement she made. Second of all, depending on the speed, I think the injuries would be a little too severe to be on here, unless this happened a while ago. Third, also depending on the speed, the OP probably wouldn't have lived. At 40 mph, the chance of a pedestrian living is only 10%. If the driver was speeding, it probably would've been over 40mph, meaning the OP most likely would have died.

Absolutely arrogant bastard she must've been. I've been hit by a car, and at least the lady that was driving sent me a card to apologise. I couldn't imagine how her words would compound the pain of your incident.
This has happened to me before too. The bitch had the nerve to get out of her car to yell at ME. She's the one that ran the fucking red light, speeding no less. Pedestrians ALWAYS have the right of way anyway. Let's just say I had several witnesses to back me up. Now that one incident has payed for my first year of college and brand new filming equipment for school. And this doesn't include the rest of the settlement I'll get when I turn 21. My leg's still and forever fucked up, but what can you do?
I'm sorry this had to happen to you too though. Hopefully you have health insurance that'll take care of any hospital bills. They can be a bitch.
