Today, I discovered that I had lost my phone. I drove to the campus to try and find it, and parked in a gated lot where you pay when you leave. All the buildings were closed, so I had to go home. That's when I realized that I didn't have my wallet to get my car out. And no phone to call a ride. FML

Today, after a long workout I come back to my locker, to find my lock had been cut. I looked inside realizing my phone and iPod had been stolen. If that wasn't bad enough, my keys were gone. I ran out to the parking lot to find an empty spot where my car had once been parked. FML

Long walk home

Today, I got locked out of a building that I work in (I work night shifts). I locked my phone, wallet, and car keys in the building. I had no way of contacting my boss or getting a ride. I had to walk home at night, almost got hit by a car full of dudes yelling slurs, and had a woman scream at me from the passenger seat of a car. FML

Today, I went to the store to buy some groceries. Several hours later I realize that I can't find my wallet. After looking all over my house and then the store parking lot, I had my credit cards cancelled. On the drive home, I feel something under me. It was my wallet. FML

Today, while driving, I realized I had left my phone on top of my car when I was getting in. Panicking, I drove back to look for it. I found it in the middle of the street, still intact. Yay! When I went back to my car, I noticed I had locked my door, and the keys were in the ignition. FML

Today, my car was stolen from my driveway. I reported it to the police, the insurance company, and my neighbors, and begged for help via social media. As I walked to catch a bus, I saw my car parked outside my school. I forgot I left it there last night. FML

Today, my car broke down on my way home from university. I tried calling for help, only to realise my phone had completely run out of charge. Luckily, I had passed a police station so I decided to walk the 10 minutes down the road to ask for a phone. When I got there, the station was closed. FML

Today, I woke up at 7 am to take my last final. When I got to the parking lot, I realized my car was missing. After speaking to the police for 3 hours, I called my girlfriend to let her know what happened. She then told me I had parked on the street the night before. So much for the 8 am final. FML

Today, I left my wallet on top of my car when I filled up with gas. I drove away and didn't realize it until I got home. I went back and found it on the side of the road. Empty of my credit cards, pictures and checks. All that was left was my driver's license. FML

Today, I dropped my car keys down the elevator shaft at my dorm. I had parked my car at a parking meter, and now had no way to get change out of my car. It took six hours for someone to get my keys, and I now have a $75 parking ticket. FML

The solutions are so many and so obvious! Walk home. Find someone walking around and ask to use their phone to call a friend. At that time of the night, almost everyone has free minutes. Go to a fraternity and volunteer for a gang-bang. I'm surprised you got into college with your complete lack of problem-solving skills. I'll bet your parents can afford to pay full-tuition, and probably make donations, too.

College admission standards have changed a lot over the years. Sometime in the past couple decades, someone decided that "everyone should have the opportunity to go to college" and it was discriminatory to not allow uneducated, lazy and illiterate people go to college. High school students responded to this through impromptu collective bargaining: they refused to learn, and dared the teachers and administrators to fail them. The teachers and administrations flinched, passed the students anyway... and then the students demanded their "right" to attend college. The powers-that-be at the colleges didn't want to appear politically incorrect, so they acknowledged the "right" of all these students to attend college. The result? A large number of lazy, illiterate college students who have to take remedial, 8th grade level math and English classes and are receiving failing grades for the first time in their lives. Problem solving skills???? Apparently no one running our schools has these, so why should they be required of students?

Use the free student phone, most places will have one. Ask someone in the library, it's usually open, to use theirs. Go to campus police, explain your situation. The first thing that came to my mine, beyond the fact that this would never happen to me, would be to use a payphone maybe?
