Man or woman?

Today, I went to see a movie. While buying tickets, the girl behind the counter asked to show my ID card to proof I'm at least 16 years old. Not wanting to make a drama, I showed it. She took a look at it and declared it as fake. That ID is real and I'm 24. FML

I hope you demanded to talk to the manager, and the bitch who said it was fake got fired.

#27 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:28pm by Mattfail

I get that all the time. I'm 20 and look about 13 to 15. Sometimes people are all rude about it. I'm too young to be flattered by someone telling me I look so young.

#93 - On 07/28/2009 at 7:21pm by ilg4evr

Mattfail, what are you, 12? Have you ever had a job? Nobody would ever get fired over stupid shit like that, unless their employer was just looking for an excuse to fire them.

#116 - On 07/28/2009 at 10:02pm by anniebananie

#93, I'm totally with you. It's really frustrating, especially when people go on and on about how YOUNG you look and how you'll appreciate that later. I'm 21 and I don't appreciate it now.

#124 - On 07/28/2009 at 11:23pm by chimmy

Fucking whore had no right, if the ID said you were 24 then she had no right to say it was fake, unless she ran it through a police tester. FYL, and i hope the bitch got fired. (Sorry #2, i wanted a place near the top..)

#141 - On 07/29/2009 at 1:57am by mattmalin11

I'm 24 and starting my PhD in a month. This past summer, while visiting the local middle school with my much younger brother, I was asked what grade I was going into. Twice.

My mom says I'll appreciate it when I'm 40.

#154 - On 07/29/2009 at 8:05am by pygmalion

#116, you mean such as turning paying customers away due to stupidity/arbitrary reasons?

#155 - On 07/29/2009 at 8:55am by Leaveittosteven

#124: its ok. one time my older sister, who was 16 at the time, had to take my 9 year old sister to a meet&greet with the teacher. the teacher asked if my 16 year old sister was her mom........
and now shes 19 but still gets carded everywhere she goes=/

#187 - On 03/11/2010 at 11:57pm by chrisparty

Look at it this way - lots of people would kill and pay a good sum of money to look younger.

#3 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:04pm by Dfeline

Yeah, people may want to look younger at 30, or 35, or 40, etc...but to look underage is not such a good thing. There's a certain point when you'd rather look older instead of younger. Late teens/early 20' s are the prime period for that.

#12 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:16pm by bohemond

yea if your 24 and someone mistakes you for under 16 then thats pretty bad.... like if you wanna go to a bar or something.
OP FYL

#16 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:22pm by xxlillyxx

Yeah... I'm not sure how this is YDI or FYL or anything... sounds more like a compliment.

#70 - On 07/28/2009 at 6:30pm by Stunt

my friend has this happen to him at a liquor store. Said his ID was fake, though her really was from colorado, and the ID was real.

take it as a compliment tho lol

#4 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:05pm by stef383

I think I know that guy. Was his name Mclovin?

#17 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:22pm by Chaith

i LOVE Mclovin!!! he is like my all time idol!!! gotta love superbad!!!

#29 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:30pm by xxlillyxx

i used to work in a movie theater and the guy who played mclovin went to see one of the shows there. my supervisor got his autograph

#32 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:35pm by purple_mongoose

Really? I got a friend who just looks like McLovin and everyone bothers him on it. Another thing I saw was that the very same actor who played McLovin was on Jimmy Kimmel's "I'm Fucking Ben Affleck".

#85 - On 07/28/2009 at 6:58pm by fawfulster

Not to make a drama? WTF?

#144 - On 07/29/2009 at 2:04am by Aish

aww... thats awesome that you look that young. That happens to me all the time and it is annoying but atleast when I am 30 or 40 I will look much younger =)

#6 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:12pm by lexiBRo

heyy,
it;s a compliment,
it's good to look young right?
who wouldn't to look young and age slower?

#8 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:12pm by Anonanimal

I get my age mixed up a lot too. And I agree, take it as a compliment. You'll be happy about that when you're thirty of fourty or so.

#9 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:15pm by Cupcake10

sucks dude its like you'll never grow up

#11 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:16pm by rafaelaugusto94

people usually think i am older than i actually am but i agree with #9. you will be happy later in life

#13 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:19pm by Clairina

That's a weird thing to have happen at the movies. People say I look way older than I am. Which I guess now its a compliment.

#14 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:19pm by redxapplexoxo

There is no #1 and no #10 in these comments... wtf!

#117 - On 07/28/2009 at 10:11pm by cheer_leader247

be glad.
i'm 15.
pretty much everytime I go somewhere and meet someone they ask if i'm a senior. in college.
and if i have my 2 nieces with me (8 and 5) i get called a mother.
i'd almost rather look a little younger than i apparently appear.

#18 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:23pm by falloutgurl517

Are you serious? F your life? That's good that they think you look young! You could get young teens arrested! xD

#23 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:25pm by gsfgf

I work at a theater and it's 17 not 16 if you are talking about an R movie. And what a bitch, usually if the person looks like an annoying 13ish year old I will card them and embarrass them but 16+ I don't give a shit

#24 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:26pm by Pink_ElePhant88

maby its different in BELGIUM?? not the US... big difference between the 2!!!

#31 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:34pm by xxlillyxx

It may be 17 in America for an R-Rated or NC-17 movie, but it's 16 in Belgium for a KNT rating.

#34 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:36pm by zargon

A lot of countries differ in their age limitations.

@ It happens to me, I have a childish face. Though I never get my ID declined and get into any place I desire. Though there is a difference between being 24 and confused with a 16 year-old, and being confused with someone underage when you are 19. Here underage is under 18.

#39 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:44pm by RataBlanca

Thats not much of a FYL, but it's pretty funny :P

#26 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:27pm by SirColton

"not wanting to make drama?" Why the fuck would you create drama when you're 24 and have to be 16 and also what the fuck does that have to do with your story?

#28 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:29pm by spamky

#28, calm down man.
Thats not the point of the story, and if thats all you could pick up then wow, go get some help.
And OP, FYL, that really sucks especially at an age like 24, when you want to look a little older.
Hopefully everything got resolved and you got your movie for free. :D

#35 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:37pm by MelanieBerrigan

some people become seriously agitated when carded esp. when they are much older than the required age...

#36 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:39pm by lexiBRo

I get agitated whenever I'm carded. I don't look like some scrawny teenager trying to pull something over on them. I'm 29 years old and shouldn't have to deal with some ass hat on a power trip demanding to see my ID when they can clearly see that I am well over the age.

#132 - On 07/29/2009 at 12:20am by blueknight1st

it's lame to get carded at a movie when you're clearly over the age requirement, but at the grocery store i worked at, for awhile we had to card everyone no matter what age, because we got two stings by the cops. the company didn't want to lose that much money again, so I can understand why we had to do it. it wasn't a power trip at all.

some of the customers i had to card were the most whiny bitches ever. one called a kid a dumbass, and another made a new girl almost cry with the fit he threw. I understand why it can irritate people, but for cashiers selling alcohol or cigarettes it's doing your job right so you don't get fired.
Don't make a scene and just pull out your ID. it doesn't take that long.

But for movies, i think it's pretty stupid and my cinema hardly ever cards. And my bf had someone tell him that his ID was fake and he got pretty pissed.

#135 - On 07/29/2009 at 12:55am by helloxmygoodbye

Just show her your driver's license...cuz you don't get your pic horizontal until you're 18

#30 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:34pm by VoGuE221

They only do that in some states. Plus, she's in Belgium. I don't know what the ID cards look like there.

#80 - On 07/28/2009 at 6:47pm by bexox

The old ones are stickers on the back of a transparent plastic card (picture and address on the glued side), quite a bit larger than a credit card format.
The new ones are electronic, credit card shaped with a chip.

#147 - On 07/29/2009 at 2:45am by suchacreep

who the hell IDs for a movie?

#33 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:35pm by hbooks93

It happens. I once got carded for a freaking PG13 movie...I was 19 at the time. And I was carded again when I went to see Superbad. It's really annoying.

#71 - On 07/28/2009 at 6:31pm by ihatestupidppl

I hate when people think I am younger than I am. I'm 18, but people always think that I'm still 15 or 16!! WTH? I think its because I have freckles. I hate those damn freckles...

Too many negative votes, comment buried. Show the comment.

$10 Says the OP is black, and that the lady behind the counter was white.
I know, because im black, and this kinda shit happens to me all the time.
Damn racist people, ESPECIALLY when it comes to cops. They stereotype too much, and assume that just cuz im black and walking outside at 2am, that im about to rob somebody.

#40 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:45pm by RacerrRex

wowwwww get over yourself. u think just cuz ur black that everyone is racist against you? it happens to EVERYONE! i'm arab, and i'm not even justifying ur stupid claim

#44 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:50pm by ghadir

Probably because YOU ARE about to rob someone.

So you have no right to complain
About stereotyping.

#142 - On 07/29/2009 at 1:57am by maedae523

Oh good! I'm not the only one with that problem! Half the places I'm trying to get a job at think that I'm 14 years old, and think my ID is fake when I show them. I'm 20 and have been looking for a job since November!

#41 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:45pm by Luckster

#42 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:46pm by emmexox

I'm 18 and people ALWAYS think I'm 12-14. The worst is that everyone thinks my 14-year-old brother is older than me.

#43 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:47pm by jewjewbee

always happens to me. I feel your pain

#45 - On 07/28/2009 at 5:55pm by asuiteheart

#49 - On 07/28/2009 at 6:02pm by ummwoahx3

Lol I've actually considered this. When I met my (22 year old) boyfriend's best friends, they thought he was a creep for dating a 14 year old. I'm 20 =\

#74 - On 07/28/2009 at 6:35pm by ihatestupidppl

That sucks. I'm 16 and I get asked if I'm entering middle school this year. I'm a senior in high school. :S So I know how you feel.

#50 - On 07/28/2009 at 6:05pm by captain_cookie

ya, but why would they need to see your id to check if you're 16???? wouldn't it be 18? fake.

#52 - On 07/28/2009 at 6:06pm by niemann2006

Yes, it is clearly fake except... oh wait, what's this? They're not posting from your country? Funny story, 16 *is* correct in Belgium.

#56 - On 07/28/2009 at 6:11pm by zargon

Actually, since OP was buying tickets for a movie, it's entirely possible, even if the age he needed to be was 12. However, if this was about buying alcohol, you would be completely correct as you need to be 16 for that in Belgium.

#67 - On 07/28/2009 at 6:24pm by Dude

Ouch. Something similar happened to me when I was 22.... I was in Germany, and when I tried to buy alcohol from a store, she asked for my ID. I have an ID from the US, so I don't think she knew what it was, and the dates are written differently. She gave me a weird, skeptical look. Drinking age there is 16, but they're usually really relaxed about it... not sure why I was carded.

#55 - On 07/28/2009 at 6:10pm by go_rangers

Ugh, I'm 23 and this happens to me all the time.

#58 - On 07/28/2009 at 6:12pm by echarperouge

I thought people were more relaxed about that shit in Europe. I guess I deserve it for having faith in humanity. But seriously, that sucks for you.

#59 - On 07/28/2009 at 6:19pm by Travel

I have a friend who's 25 but she looks like she could be a freshman in high school...it's just how it is for petite women with youthful characteristics. She actually gets a little worried if she goes to the liquor store and does not get carded.

well take it as a compliment. you look 8 years younger than you actually are or more. so when you're 40, you'll like you're 32! :)

#81 - On 07/28/2009 at 6:52pm by magichateball

this is sad. Not that you got carded, but that you talk the way you do and you're 24 years old. yikes! FYL

#82 - On 07/28/2009 at 6:52pm by im4evaonyomind

Same problem! I'm 21, and I practically haven't aged since I was 17. My ID doesn't help much either, since I look about 12 in the picture (it was taken when I was 16). Last time I went to a bar the bouncer asked what year I graduated from high school, testing me b/c he thought it was fake. I'm glad it expires this year. I might get a new one early.

#83 - On 07/28/2009 at 6:54pm by bexox

I'd hope you asked for the manager. Altho many would kill to be in that situation, it sucks to be falsely accused.

complain to the manager!!

#87 - On 07/28/2009 at 7:04pm by JoshuaJosh

What a bitch! I'd just go and buy the ticket with an automated machine, if there was one there.
Funny story, I was buying tickets to see Coraline, and the cashier charged me as a child (13 and under). I'm 19, wtf.

#89 - On 07/28/2009 at 7:09pm by Katface

My brother has been pulled over several times for suspicion of underage driving. The last time he was 28!

And at 26, I was constantly questioned by patrons (and even other employees) when I would pour alcohol at the pizza place where I was working.

It is a mild inconvenience when you are younger but it comes in handy later in life!

#90 - On 07/28/2009 at 7:13pm by LyssWA

Mann.. That's weird that you got carded.. I go to R-rated films all the time, and I've never been carded... I'm 14

#92 - On 07/28/2009 at 7:19pm by Kb2009

I guess some places do and some places don't. I worked at a movie theater when I was younger shortly after Columbine. There was a big push to make sure children weren't being admitted to R rated movies. We rarely asked for ID.

The one time we did, we saw a few kids that were a few years behind us in school. We knew they were underage. The last kid in line from that group was a complete dick to one of our friends. He harassed her a lot because she was overweight and "goth". My friend working the door sold a ticket to every kid in his group. Once the dick kid got up to the front, my friend asked for ID. He didn't have any. We didn't sell him the ticket. His friends got to go in. He had to call his parents for a ride home.

#102 - On 07/28/2009 at 8:44pm by Miso_Soupu

I'm the same, but you'll look 20 when you're 40, which is awesome too.

#95 - On 07/28/2009 at 7:31pm by Gavik

I can't believe how many idiots are on this site. "It must be fake, the age isn't 16!" Jesus Christ, there are countries besides your own!

This story made me nervous, I just turned 19 and I haven't used my ID yet because I'm afraid they'll say it's fake.

#96 - On 07/28/2009 at 7:45pm by brrrx

this happens to me all the time too i'm 19 but most the people i work with are in their 50's or 60's this one lady in particular tells me every time she see's me that i look like I'm 12, it got old after my first week I've been there for 2 years FML

#100 - On 07/28/2009 at 8:15pm by zach9153

I've had a similar experience. I was walking around downtown when some townies asked me if I go to the local university. They thought I was an 18 year old freshman. I was 25 at the time, and worked at the school. It can be difficult for parents to listen to you and take you seriously when they think you are the same age as their children despite being almost a decade older.

#101 - On 07/28/2009 at 8:40pm by Miso_Soupu

I get the same thing. I was mistaken for being 12 once, and I'm 22.

#104 - On 07/28/2009 at 8:49pm by Bullshet

My best friend is older than me (she's 25), and she is only 4'10". She comes from a family of really short people, and she has a very young-looking face. Everywhere she goes, people think she's showing them a fake ID. She started having to bring her passport and her driver's license to bars to prove her age. It's really annoying for her.

#105 - On 07/28/2009 at 8:51pm by calikola

Ugghhh, I know your pain. Shoulda complained to the manager.

I also hate how many people are saying "It's a compliment!" -- No, it's NOT a compliment when people think YOU'RE A CHILD, especially since the bitch was like "YOU'RE LYING THIS IS FAKE"

#106 - On 07/28/2009 at 8:52pm by DameGreyWulf

If it makes you feel any better, I'm 22 and I look about 12 lol.

I get people coming up to me at my job all the time asking if I'm even old enough to be working.

Don't worry though, we're gonna look amazing when we're 60!!!

#107 - On 07/28/2009 at 9:01pm by g00nie

If you *ever* get your id confiscated, get management ask them to call the police. Say, they can arrest me for having a fake id if it is indeed fake. The police will run a check on the id, and will say it's legit. If the owner refuses to call police, call the police yourself and tell them items have been stolen, and the thief is right in front of you.

at least you'll look young when you grow older

#113 - On 07/28/2009 at 9:57pm by bman16

I get carded all the time. No one believes my age. I HATE when people say "at least you'll look young when you're older". Who cares? Right now, I want to look my age. I hate constantly getting told my ID is fake when it's not. Now I have to show my ID and my license to get into bars that I've been going to since I turned 21.

#114 - On 07/28/2009 at 10:00pm by sickinlove13

Call them and talk to a manager! I had a friend who wasn't let into a bar for the same reason, and she complained, and they sent her a $100 gift card!!

#118 - On 07/28/2009 at 10:14pm by kdawg86

so...fyl because you look young?i didn't know that was a bad thing.

#119 - On 07/28/2009 at 10:26pm by ChemiclyInsane

this is FYL but also good. good thing you look young. It's sort of a compliment.
I wouldn't do anything, but after #118, you could get a gift card, soooooo...

#120 - On 07/28/2009 at 10:37pm by foryoublue94

hahaha, I'm 17 and I get mistaken for a 12 year old. that sucks that she was such a bitch :(

#121 - On 07/28/2009 at 10:55pm by sireen

And THAT is when you make a drama.

#122 - On 07/28/2009 at 10:58pm by GrapefruitZoe

lol
same for me except I always show my medical insurance card n they believer cuz it's government made.

#123 - On 07/28/2009 at 11:21pm by Jord111222333

umm she can just "declare your ID fake"? thats retarded. that lady needs 2 get a brain.

#125 - On 07/28/2009 at 11:24pm by average_girl

She was probably a 16-year-old who doesn't really know what she's talking about.

#180 - On 08/01/2009 at 3:10pm by uzupocky

Oh yeah I feel so bad for you. Your 24 and look like your 16. What that must suck to be you. Fyl all the way. Boo hoo. Now really can some one please tell me how this is a fml?????

#126 - On 07/28/2009 at 11:50pm by Josh223344

lol..thats messed up man

#127 - On 07/28/2009 at 11:56pm by chriscece17

Ok how could that possibly be an FML because it can be resolved in like a minute! And what is with the troll? That is just dumb.

#128 - On 07/29/2009 at 12:00am by mackay

now just think, when you're 50 you'll look 30!

#129 - On 07/29/2009 at 12:01am by sj_19

this has happened to me. I'm 19 and went to apply for a job and the woman thought i was 12. at least when we're older we'll like it i suppose

#130 - On 07/29/2009 at 12:13am by ireallyam

where do they ask for age at the movies...me & my 6 yr old sister watched orphan. and that's rated r ..?

OP: take it as a compliment?

#131 - On 07/29/2009 at 12:20am by amaneylandx3

Similar situation happened to my buddy one time...we went to a bar and said his ID was fake. This bar is notorious for confiscating fake ID's and putting them on the wall right when you enter the front door. His ID was real and they confiscated it from him needless to say we had to call the police to get them to give it back. F**king idiots! Sometimes I wonder if people use their heads for more than a hat rack.

#133 - On 07/29/2009 at 12:24am by iplayrugby18

At least we all know you look young

#134 - On 07/29/2009 at 12:40am by bleh993

when you're young it definitely isn't a compliment. im going to be 18 in less than a month and people think im 14 or 15 and it really doesn't help that im only 5'1.

#136 - On 07/29/2009 at 1:00am by katieschro9991

dude I know how you feel I'm 19 and people think I'm like 13 or something! It sucks but at least when I'm 50 I'll look like I'm 40!

I'm 24, and I still get asked if I want kids menus and get asked if I'm traveling alone when trying to go through airport security (after being asked my birth date twice, I had to point to it on my passport). It's embarrassing, but there's not much any of us who look younger than our age can do about it. I'm a senior at the University and I still get asked which high school I go to.

#138 - On 07/29/2009 at 1:32am by Wgirl

Hmm... That sucks at the moment, but in ten to twenty years from now (when most women start to look haggard) you'll hopefully still look young.

Think of it as a kinda built in revenge if your significant other ever cheats on you... He'll end up alone or with an ancient looking woman, while you'll still be young and spry in comparison.

#139 - On 07/29/2009 at 1:46am by 56578

mandy!!!!

#140 - On 07/29/2009 at 1:54am by ubbiejames

I'm 13 and peeps think i'm nine..

#143 - On 07/29/2009 at 2:02am by mattmalin11

i don't see whats so bad about that. isn't it kind of good to look young?

#145 - On 07/29/2009 at 2:06am by dinaco

Was it an electronic idcard, or just one of the old types?
In either case, the lady should have let you in. It has happened to me also, but thats why I carry extra cards with me (in those cases, my KULeuven student card).

#146 - On 07/29/2009 at 2:19am by Suico

It sucks that you look so much younger than your real age. At 24, looking 19~20 is actually great, because people tend to give you a student discount without even asking for your id/student card. I can't pull it off anymore when I get my hair done, though, I'm half white at 26.

#149 - On 07/29/2009 at 2:59am by suchacreep

i hear you OP, i'm 22 and get carded pretty much all the time... it drives me demented, especially when people realise their mistake and then start talking about how great it will be when i'm 40... i'm sure i'll agree with that when I am actually 40, until then, grrr!

#151 - On 07/29/2009 at 5:44am by isnt_it_ironic

I know it sucks. Sometimes they ask me if I'm already 14... I'm 17!

#152 - On 07/29/2009 at 7:00am by littlemssvixen

At a shop around the corner from my work I was asked what school I go to. I work in an office, so the suit could be mistaken at a glance for a school uniform, I suppose, if you're not really paying attention. But here's the thing...I'm 24.

#153 - On 07/29/2009 at 7:01am by musu

I think xxlillyxx was talking about the troll and his moronic way to write (if intended to write like that).

#156 - On 07/29/2009 at 9:12am by RataBlanca

Frustrating, but take it as a compliment!

#157 - On 07/29/2009 at 9:48am by Epiphany1882

Ahhh, don't feel bad. I'm 21 and get carded/held-back-for-scrutiny all the time, tho it hasn't happened at the movies yet, lol... Take it as a good thing, when your much older you'll still look young.

#158 - On 07/29/2009 at 11:20am by shadesInk

Lol I'm 16 and don't get carded at 18+ movies or when buyin rated m games

#159 - On 07/29/2009 at 12:37pm by mohit88

That happened to me too when I went to see the Strangers! I was 23!

#160 - On 07/29/2009 at 1:00pm by Radda_Radda

You were actually willing to pay to see "The Strangers"? Consider yourself lucky you didn't get in...

#162 - On 07/29/2009 at 2:42pm by Aish

woah, you must look really young :P
^^ thats good!

#161 - On 07/29/2009 at 1:32pm by MaiTB12

most women find that to be a compliment. also that movie sucked, so i definitely voted down this post.

#163 - On 07/29/2009 at 4:05pm by you_are_a_noise

wow, I mean I can understand why they wouldn't want someone underage to see it, but they're turning down a paying customer and if you look close enough they shouldn't care all that much. I wouldn't.

#164 - On 07/29/2009 at 5:35pm by hunterjumper24

The same shit happen to me everytime ... this one day I was with my 10 years old sister ... i brought her to the see Up, the cashier asked me if I wanted 2 tickets for kids. I'm 20 ans had my car keys in my hand.

#165 - On 07/29/2009 at 8:47pm by cheshirexcat

You should have taken the offer! Kids' tickets are so much cheaper.

#179 - On 08/01/2009 at 2:56pm by uzupocky

I went out to dinner with my parents, and the waitress gave me my soda in a kid's cup. I'm 20 years old. But yeah, shit like this happens to me all the time. FML

#167 - On 07/29/2009 at 10:14pm by 7hir7een

Ok, at a bar I understand. But a movie? seriously.... who cares? How old was the person that carded you? 15?

#168 - On 07/29/2009 at 11:22pm by Keiko86

um, thats not an FML. you look 8 years younger than your real age? that's a good thing.

#169 - On 07/30/2009 at 1:44am by likeOMGwow

It may be a good thing when you're older, but when you're in your early 20s it's the last thing you want.

#170 - On 07/30/2009 at 2:06am by zargon

Hey, when you are 40 you will look like you are 30, so be happy!! I am the same way, I look much younger than I am.

#171 - On 07/30/2009 at 4:21am by christie91

16? I could've sworn you had to be 17 to see R-rated movies.

#172 - On 07/30/2009 at 2:44pm by efwiz

hahahahahahahahahahahahha :D

#173 - On 07/30/2009 at 3:20pm by LinddseyyX33

when i was 12 people thought i was 15-16
now that im 15 ppl think im 16-17
and once when i took a pic and posted it on myspace this girl said i looked 20 so thats the oldest i've ever gotten.
i wasnt mad though cause the way i took the pic made me look older and it was in black and white

#175 - On 07/30/2009 at 7:59pm by ReinaJay

people think I'm 15 and I'm 19. I can't get into movies without an ID either.

#176 - On 07/31/2009 at 11:20am by kjr1047

The same thing happened to me when I went to go see Watchmen...I'm 26 and his math was so bad, he thought I was 16.

#177 - On 07/31/2009 at 2:13pm by ilook12

Well think of it this way. If creepy men hit on you, you can say you're 15, call them pedophiles, and make them feel really embarrassed. (I do this a lot. I'm 19.)

#178 - On 08/01/2009 at 2:54pm by uzupocky

This girl i usto worked with was about 4"9 she didnt wear make up and looked about 13 she was 22... It happens.

#181 - On 08/02/2009 at 3:08am by iamjustfine69

Its the opposite for me. Im 13, and have a deeper voice than most at my age, and alot taller, and Ive actually passed off for 16 a few times.

#182 - On 08/03/2009 at 2:11am by ReconExpert

I have the same problem...
& I'm 22.

#183 - On 08/04/2009 at 12:47pm by Kay_Ell_Dee

well you spell like you are under 16...........

#184 - On 08/07/2009 at 3:39am by cocolynn12

uhh that sucks :/
you must look really young to be considered to be a 24-year-old hahaha
try using makeup like eyeliner to make you look much older...just a tip :P

#185 - On 12/28/2009 at 9:14pm by terriibabiiix23
