Today, I was going to volunteer at a soup kitchen. I saw a man working, so I went up to him to ask where I should sign in. Before I even opened my mouth, he told me that they opened at 12 and to come back then for my meal. FML

Not all homeless people dress badly. If I was him, I would assume the same thing.

Who said she was dressed poorly? If she was going to volunteer at a soup kitchen I'm assuming she wasn't homeless herself. She just didn't want to dress up in designer clothes and make the people who came for food look like shit. Never assume when you're in a situation like this. But did you end up coming back to volunteer after that and the guy realized his mistake or what? Then he'd feel like a jackass.
